I love your coaching styles and videos. I have a question. What transitions can you do if you lose or can't finish the baratoplata? For example I'll be doing it from Mount and it failed and I'm sitting on my butt and they take side. Similarly if they escapefrom guard. I'd like to add this to my go to game. I love this submission and hit it regularly but I need a backup plan just it case. Thanks- Ryan
Transition to omoplata if you are on your butt with him over you finishing it (thats if he pulls his wrist out). There are a crap ton of submissions from omoplata. If you are doing it on top and sitting on him and he pulls his arm out, transition to side mount or north south attacks

You already have an implants, and kimura setup if you go for this. Theres also a bicep slicer, armbar, triangle and so many more its ridiculous.
"I like to slip my hand underneath" how do you do that? I never find space against a resisting opponent
Pressure with your body weight helps.
