I can picture Finn and Jake having a picnic, the Sun setting in the distance as they make innocent jokes and watch the stars come out. It’s a feeling of nostalgia to imagine their voices laughing and having fun without any worries.
How would i reject such a powerful affirmation along these great Ambient Time songs. Keep it up, since the ongoing day to day is a wonderful adventure which positivity like this make it feel way much better adventure.
This is my favorite track because it really reminds me of adventure time. Like the calm moments of the life of Finn and Jake. I envision Finn outside sitting and relaxing while Jake is sitting next to him with a blanket reading or something while bmo watches them from the inside, eventually leaving himself to go sit and sunbathe with them.
To everyone doing their homework, breathe slowly, take a sip of water, and focus. To everyone who is trying to sleep, leave the chat, grab a blanket, and get the rest you deserve. To everyone who is sad, grab a snack, have some water, get a blanket, and write down your thoughts. When you're done, lay down and get some rest, no matter the time. To everyone who is creating, you got this. Your creation looks terrific. Remain in your flow and get stuff done! These are not my words but spread them and copy paste
You're most welcome. I'm glad you enjoy this. If you find it helpful, there is quite a lot more music of this style on my channel. Hopefully it can continue to bring you positive vibes 😊🙏🏼
I have recently found these and finished listening to all 5. Amazing work, makes me feel like am seeing the characters in a timeless setting just having a good time
This is so beautiful and the most relaxing thing I've ever heard. And Adventure Time is an amazing show I've ever watched because of the music, the lore and how beautiful its backgrounds and animation is.
This helps a lot with the many times I've watched the show, with it slowly getting older and older, I sometimes fear that I'd get sick of it, but being able to listen to this and imagine those in-betweens within the Land of Ooo helps a lot with filling in those gaps we never get to fully experience within the show itself. Pendleton Ward's creativity will forever fascinate me. It's euphoric and this helps add to it, it might not be directly the show but it's close enough
I swear every-time i go to a fun place with my friend like camping i just play this music as we’re having our deep conversations about something To build up the mood 😊 love it thank you for posting this.
I had a partner named finness but she went by Finn, she passed away almost 9 years ago and adventure time was one of the shows we enjoyed together. Haven’t been able to watch it since she left, but this brings me so much nostalgia. Thanks for this
When I was a kid I always loved adventure time I would watching every episode and would even watch it again to restart the times I had when I got home from school from where I left off as sadly as I grew older and older I was scared of losing contact to this lovely memory of watching episodes and having dreams of the characters and I going adventures this made me shed a tear a little due to my likings to this show and how it effected me thanks and I really mean it when I say it thank you for making this video and I will use it every time I go on hikes and camping it makes me feel like I’m in Ooo :)
ok so hear me out, the first ambient time I listened to, the first one was grasslands and I usually just play that video to listen to grasslands so I just loop that part over and over again because it sounds so goodddd so thank you that I found this 1 hr loop
once i heard this in the ambient time playlist, i knew i had to subscribe. it was only the first song on the list, but that was all it took for me to know what a great musician you are. please keep up the good work!
I'll miss the show, great soundtrack that somehow is nostalgic. I didn't watch it all the way through as I watched only the very first couple seasons then watched the rest later. The whole thing was pretty much like a journey and it was fun. I'll remember it forever, as I grew up with it on my tv after school back when I was younger. What hits me is that I've seen the most recent episodes on distant lands and it was pretty great actually. Recommended if you haven't seen it, pretty much the last episodes we'll probably get of this great show. Sad to see it go, but everything great will have to end eventually. A great story has a good conclusion. As abrupt as the official show's ending was, I feel distant lands finished all of the things that needed to be explained to make me feel satisfied with how the show ended. No words can describe how amazing jobs the people for this show did, it went from child like wonder to more realistic topics of maturity and so on. Just felt like saying something, as I have a lot of nostalgia for this show. I also feel the show deserves credit for how the story progressed, it was very detailed and wild to say the least, but concluded on a great note I feel.
Thanks, yeah I've binged the whole shows' series, Distant Lands and other things numerous times. It's like a comfort blanket of a TV show. Even if it's just kinda on as background noise, things pique your interest and you end up drawn into rewatching things again and again. I think the people who made it are geniuses and really understood what they were doing. For a show that's set in a fantastical land about candy people and magic dogs, it's some of the most grounded and human story telling on TV.
@@opusscience Completely true, took the words right out of my mouth when it comes to how much I love how the story was put together. And yeah, each one of this show's soundtracks you can know where it was from in the show. I like how this show utilized soundtracks to make you remember what you were watching. I just never realized when I was growing up that this show would end up becoming even more grounded and relatable. Each episode from the first season to the last just gets better as the episodes progress. My favorite that I saw was the reveal onto how the Ice King was a person named Simon, which blew my mind when I was first watching the show when it was still airing on TV. It makes me a bit speechless to realize that there was more to the show that the writers were willing to express in full detail, even with how they drew up each scene you watch. I'm a big fan of the show, mostly because of the fact that the whole team who did the storyboard for this show clearly put their hearts into it. If you can rewatch each episode and see something you hadn't noticed before or see more of the detail, to me that's a good show. I do think it's amazing how this show started out completely childish and colorful, then progressed into a lot of grim subjects.
This makes me want to just sit down on a patch of grass during a windy cloudy afternoon, close my eyes and contemplate about life as the breeze hits my face. Thank you for making this masterpiece, also adventure time was my childhood favorite.
Thank you. Several people have made this comparison. I've not watched Avatar The Last Airbender, but I've heard good things about the show and its music 👍🏼
You're not the first person to mention this. I've made a note of it. If I do any more ambient time in the future, provided the context is right, I'll aim to do something pertaining to music hole 👍🏼😊
"Y'know, Jake... we're always off on some new adventures every other day. I love going on them, I do. But, sometimes... it's nice to just... relax. Like, good jubies."
Thank you. At the moment, no. The album that this track is from exists in its entirety, as one 40-minute video on my channel. Otherwise, there are the one-hour loops. I expect that at some point in the future, I'll add the individual songs, in their original run-times. These tunes are all uploaded to most other streaming services, such as Spotify, Apple Music, etc, so if you use these services, you can always compile playlists there.
As long as it's just background music to other things, like narration, video-essay, etc, that's all good. All I ask is that you credit me in the description with a link to my channel, and don't just re-upload the music verbatim, as a music video 👍🏼. By all means send me a link to your video when it's live. I'm always interested to hear other peoples' Adventure Time projects.
Thanks for your permission! and I will of course credit you, but my video is me showing off a Minecraft adventure time tree house I worked on with no commentary really, is that a "music video"?
@@polarpalmtrees that's fine, yeah 👍🏼. My son & I spent many hours playing the Minecraft Adventure Time mash-up pack. It's awesome. I look forward to seeing your video. 👍🏼
Is the game going to be priced on Steam or will it be a freebie giveaway? If it's a freebie, then you're welcome to use it, provided you credit me. If it's priced, we'd theoretically need to agree a licensing fee, however, we'd be entering into tricky territory as this tune is based around the melody from 'Island Song' (the end-credits theme of Adventure Time), which is not my original composition (whilst the "production" is mine, the "melody" is not, and therefore not mine to license). I.e. you'd be using Cartoon Network intellectual property, which is all kinds problematic, copyright wise... (that's why I list album for free on BandCamp). Cartoon Network would be within their rights to cease and desist you, and I therefore wouldn't be comfortable charging a licensing fee on this particular tune. Welcome to the fascinating and overly complex world of music-copyright 😔. To sum up, if the game's a freebie, be my guest. But, if you're charging money for the game, for your sake and mine, perhaps find another tune which doesn't incorporate Adventure Time melodies and use that (there are loads of pieces across the Ambient Time 5-album series that are entirely original). If you wish to discuss things further, or maybe have me make something bespoke for your game (for a fee), please contact me at opussciencecollective@outlook.com. Cheers 👍🏼
