To kill a ship in one salvo? Of course this one. Maybe Montana or Repu, but Vermont being first place. Now Yamato, on the other hand is very strong and fun with her overmatch, since deadeye. Very comfortable to use, so much power

why would you get alabama unless you are just a collector? NC is more accurate and has a better heal, massa has good secondaries and a faster heal. the only thing that alabama is best at is torp protection which is only slightly better than massa
From somebody that plays Alabama, Massa and Georgia. The weaknesses, like the first person said, slightly less accurate and a tinge of a worse heal, and like the second person said, slightly worse gun angles and less AA. Now let me actually be the black sheep of this convo. Cruiser rudder shift AND turn radius. Best torp protection @ tier 8 hands down. Last thing is a Plus AND a Minus in one. When turning, the Alabama shaves a bit of speed (not as bad as the American super BBs) making hitting this damn thing from 12km on out, a test of patience for an enemy or if you're firing at one that knows what he's doing. But with that shaving of speed, unless you're searching for concealment (island of some sort or getting out of range), you then become a few ships favorite target while you're trying to recover. I think the Alabama overall is actually a fine ship where its at. Decent tanking ship, quick to prioritize targets because of MLG rudder (helping to swing guns when necessary and you're safe to do so), not too far off on accuracy, and if in close (verrrry close) but you're unspotted, you can possibly pull a short range version of a Massa brawl out of your heiny (still extremely accurate and fast firing secondaries).

As I said I have the Massachusetts Georgia and Alabama and by far the Alabama seems to Juke everything. Plus the turn radius on the Alabama really seems to feel right in that Cruiser range. I do have to agree though that be extra 500 meters of detection could be a big downfall or an easy advantage and depending on your play style and the enemy play style. I wouldn't call myself good by any means with a 48% win rate but most of my mistakes were obviously made earlier In My World of Warship career. then again there are the times where I just feel like pushing especially if I have two or three other ships that seem to be tagging along in which case I die LMFAO. The Alabama seem suited for Pulling enemies out of position thinking that they are going to get an easy kill while kiting and juking, the Massachusetts is the mid-range and short-range God of destruction and I think everybody knows about the flanking potential of the Georgia. I will not say whether or not the Alabama is better than the North Carolina because I have not played down the North Carolina to Montana line. That is in the works
Deadeye should cost 8 skill points or have some sort of negative stat, like +100% to fire & flooding damage (to encourage DDs & CAs etc.), good video though. Got to admit, if a pig ever put on lipstick, it would be a Vermont and she loooooks good 😍
hows PQ still having the 2.0v ribbon badges? they got removed in aslain replaced with the v3 that i dont like at all..i want the old one back :/

I got into a match in my Monarch right on the 2nd game I got 1 salvod by a Vermont 24km away. Already 3mins into the game i got spotted by a carrier plane and got destroyed by a Vermont citadelled me. Lol
How long is an average game? 12 minute or so? You don't get to fire your first salvo for the first minute or two unless you have a cv that gets early spots. So, let's say you have an average of 11 minutes of game play. With a 40 second reload, firing on reload you only get 16 salvos per game. Realistically, if you are not firing on reload because you are evaluating better shots, waiting for targets to turn, etc., you get fewer than 15 salvos per game. That's pretty crazy. That emphasizes the importance of positioning for broadsides and aiming correctly. Every salvo needs to count.

i think vermont needs it reload cut down to 38s and itd be perfect, or increase it base speed to 24-25 knots
All the more reason to grind good old Vermont. I love the style of this ship.

Oddly, the Tillman battleship designs, which Vermont was based on, were mostly for fast battleships with around 30 knot speed.

30 seconds to 40 seconds - 25% increase, not a huge amount. Devastating strike, 10% is good but a small amount.
