I don't understand why people can't just take an informative reaction video just that way. . Amazing video..didn't know that french cuisine has some different etiquette than European ones.😮😮
I feel like some people (perhaps particularly younger people) take any criticism of their idols, whether valid or otherwise, as an attack on said idol. I watched the other two videos mentioned here and I can't see anything that Jamila said that was negative or meanspirited. But some people are so protective of their idols that they can't handle even the most innocent comment. What's worse is that many of these idols then seem to egg these same fans on to go and attack whoever made that comment whether directly or indirectly. I don't know if either Zendaya or whoever the other one was (I'm not a fan of either of them so I don't keep track) said anything about the videos but I know other musicians and actors have in similar situations. So with that in mind, I can understand why Jamila would hesitate to make these videos.

Can you do a video about eating foods that are ‘difficult’ to eat nicely. For example bagels, tacos, a slice of bread that is pretty gard so it’s hard to cut etc. A lot of times things fall out or your hands get dirty. I would also love to see a video on how to eat seafood the proper way. Thankyou so much ❤️
completely agree that you should not make a scene in a restaurant even if it is affirmative of the food. As for placing ones elbows at the table , this is basic table manners that you do not do this. Thank you so much for trying to educate the world in basic manners

I wish I knew that I could watch etiquette videos on RUclips when I was in my early 20s. I had been taken out to dinner at fancy restaurants a few times and there had been a few embarrasing moments (including not knowing a word that was written on the menu). 😅 Although etiquette was taught in elementary school, I didn't really get to practice all the things we were taught in everyday life because we don't really have this fancy set up at home. 😅 It would have been nice to have had a lot of practice especially with ballroom dancing so that I didn't have to end up becoming a wallflower at parties. 😂

My husband is my elegance coach essentially and you confirm everything he teaches me. He says that if there is no food at the table then elbows can be there, but when there's food then you can only place your wrists on the table to eat. My husband always also puts the folded bit towards my body, then you can wipe your mouth with the napkin and still have it closed off by the fold - so its not an eyesore to others. I love your videos! Diverging to the amount of dessert she was given, it reminds me of my wedding tasting...I actually ate one spoon/fork of each dish (max 2 for a really good dish) and I still struggled but managed and rolled out.

I don't know if you've done a video like that before, but it would be interesting to see a video about how etiquette differs depending on the region. For example, something that is considered polite or correct in one country/region that's considered rude in a different country/region. Slurping being a good example. I also have a question in regard to eating, or rather; cutting a food. What is the proper etiquette for handling a piece of food that's either very tough and/or hard to cut? I went to a restaurant a few weeks back where I ate a piece of steak that was absolutely delicious but part of it was really hard to cut with my knife so finally I had to resort to using my fingers to get it to come apart (otherwise I'd probably be sitting there trying to cut it for several minutes or have it slip off the plate). I think we've all also been in a situation where we're served an especially tough piece of meat and end up sitting chewing on the same piece for several minutes before finally having to admit defeat and either spit it out or swallow it whole (and hope that you don't choke).

Yep, you don't have to "listen" to the fans, I don't get it either as yours are just very polite educational observations. But, IF you want to just avoid the drama, you could react to scenes from movies, as those are just acting and not someone actually being themselves 🤗
