As a guy who has been crocheting for 53 years, the yarn varigation is gorgeous! A bit too fine for my BIG hands, and, the hook would need to be an "H" or an "I" in size for me to work with comfortably. Doug🧶

You can always upsize the yarn and hook to your needs. Here in Mexico it's hard for me to find the thicker yarns and larger hooks, so i have to down size on both to be able to do the projects I want to do. Just have fun!

I love this combination of stitches. My mum taught me to crochet and this was one of my progressive work. Very importantly she taught me how to Read pattern instructions both on paper and by sight (also knitting) . i have been doing both knitting and crochet plus sewing since I was 5! This yarn is beautiful .Thank you for reminding me of the trials and errors of crochet ....

Need to have someone who’s lift handed to do a few of these tutorials. To show how left handed people how to crochet these basic steps. Mainly because it’s hard to follow it unless it’s a mirror reflection. We have to work backwards because not everyone is right handed.
Lucky enough I grew up with my grandma showing me how to crochet. And she had me sit across from her so that I could learn how to crochet in the reverse/mirror reflecting plus she was able to crochet with both hands

That is very pretty! I like to watch people crochet. Did you know that you can relax your first finger and use your hook? It's the only way I can do it. I have arthritis. I sometimes wrap the yarn on my ring finger and lay it over my first finger. I lift my ring finger up and down. I just wanted to share this alternative. To each his/her own. Happy crocheting! 🙂

Your not making it easy to see where you are placing your hook & you're going too fast. It's hard to tell how many chains you're making without slowing down the video.
