First time I did this job in training kind of freaked me out because of all the VIA's flying through at 90+ mph haha. Definitely one of the best roadswitcher jobs out there. Crazy to see how much Perth and Maitland have changed.
@TheRailfan360 A kid, where the crew at the time, (Engineer and Conductor now retired) risked their jobs to let me ride along with them. That conductor was very instrumental in forming my knowledge for the job I now do. I've waited a long time to post these. I figured 20 years was long enough.

Indeed. That CREWS facility has added a lot of traffic, but other places have slowed down and even ceased all together.
I really like this one. You did the iconic "Brockville Horn Action" at the end!
I didn't do anything! This was 20 years ago!
@@GEES44DC Oh shoot you're right, you're in the conductor's seat. My bad!
@TheRailfan360 was actually standing in the middle of the cab. The crew members were all sitting.
@@GEES44DC What exactly were you there for? Was it part of training?

Was this recorded inside a GP38-2? Trying to tell if it's a turbo'd engine or not.
Yes.
