@@andrewterry8092 and the absence of any interesting machining content is very good for Kurtis at Cutting Edge Australia
Congratulations Adam
My nerves would be shot thinking about the amount of work needed to pay for that machine
All the best of luck Adam wishing you and Abby all the best keep up the GREAT Work.
What in heaven’s name is that for? That’s humongous! Do you have any customers that need anything that big to be milled? I am standing by to learn . . . .
Look at Fireball Tool's welding tables for example, need a machine like this to make them
Great to see you growing and I can't wait to see this thing in action
A very proud day. Congratulations Adam
Congrats on your new arrival. I am really looking forward to seeing what types of work you'll be doing on this beast... Good luck..
I work in a machine shop in Florida, we have a Flex CNC machine with a much shorter bed than yours but otherwise exactly the same. I run it every so often when the main operator is out and they are great machines. I like the G code for its ease of use and I like the tool bay being parallel with the table. Wide variety of use and only wish our bed space was longer for more vices. Hope to see your CNC running soon.
Wow! That machine is huge! Cannot wait to see it do it’s thing.
How many times did the phrase “Go big or go home” come up when you were talking with Flex? Looks like you will need the unit next door soon.
😉
Congrats Abom. I couldn’t afford the crane rental, let alone the machine itself. Can’t wait to see the Flex operational and what you make with it.
How can a one man shop pay for all new equipment an not be making anything?
simple. he's not paying for it.
How do you know what he is making?
also patreon, he said befour that everything that comes trough patreon goes straight in to the shops he have.
Still amazes me the amount of folks who watch RUclips yet haven’t a clue how it all works. Elmer here is a prime example.
Now that is an awesome machine! I can't wait to see it in operation, and to see what kind of production you do with it to pay for it, that thing has to be expensive! I was a maintenance mechanic for a fairly large cabinet shop when I lived in California. They had a couple of Morbidelli cnc router machines for milling cabinet parts, fantastic machines, that cost about $250,000 apiece and that was over 15 years ago. And they had a couple of Schelling cnc saws that cost about the same. It was imperative that we kept them running 24 hours a day.
