Hi Ken Chan, i finally have th e time to watch this video. Thank you for making this video. As I mentioned in another 1 of your videos, I have booked another trip to Tokyo from 27th March to 3rd April 2023. I will also be staying in Tokyo throughout my trip (no more travelling out of the city like my december trip) so i will have plenty of time to visit the places you mentioned in your video. This time i will pack a picnic mat and a foldable chair hahahah! Thank you once again!
Hello Kevin. If you arrive on 12th, you still see some in Shinjuku Gyoen. I know you don't go far from Tokyo this time, but if you make a day trip to mountain areas, you still might see. :)
Thank you for watching the video. The average temperature of March 30th every year is here. It can be chilly or warm, depends on the year. Red is high, blue is low. :) weather.goo.ne.jp/past/662/00000330/

Hey! Thanks for your wonderful series on Tokyo and Kyoto. You gave me a LOT to consider for my first trip to Japan in May 2023. Would you be willing to do a video explaining the famous Tokyo Fish Market Auctions? I would love to attend one while there (I know they happen very early in the morning). I heard that Tsukiji fish market is a famous one, but it appears closed/moved to a new location. A video showing a fish market, or a location of one, would be fantastic. Thanks!
Hello Jake san thank you for your comment again. I'm glad if my videos could give you some idea or tips for your trip. :) Yes, the Tsukiji market has moved to new location. I'm working on a new video about Tokyo for the first time visitors now, so I'll include that information in it. Thank you for letting me know!
Hi, thank you for your great video because it showed many details of where & when to see cherry blossoms in Japan 🙂 I have travelled in Japan twice, but I still wanna go back to this beautiful country 😍 I have planned to visited Japan from March 30 to April 5 (Tokyo - Kyoto - Osaka - Nara) this year. Do you think that is the good time to see many cherry blossoms in those cities?
Wendy san, that is a perfect week to visit Tokyo and Kyoto for cherry blossoms! Thank you for watching this video and your comment. I wish you the best trip to Japan. 🌸
Hello! I was able to see the early cherry blossoms in Atami, Acao Forest! I’m from Manila so we don’t have Sakura, so seeing it was special for me :) thanks for your helpful videos! I’ll come back to JP soon!
Just got back from Tokyo, and we really enjoyed our vacation. Now I'm planning my trip for cherry blossom. Can we still get a glimpse of cherry blossom mid April?
Thank you for watching. That's great to hear you enjoyed your trip in Japan. Cherry blossom might be gone by mid April. You might be able to see in Northern Japan or mountain area, but not in Tokyo or Kyoto. March 25 - April 5 is the range I see cherry blossom fully recent years. No guarantee though. 😅
Great video, I will follow your recommendations I will be in Japan on the 22nd of March just perfect to see the wonderful cherry blossoms trees. Can you tell me what will be the temperature appromatively for the 3rd week of March ? I don't know what kind of jacket to bring ;)
It can be cold around 5 degree in the moring and night, and goes up higher than 20 degree in day time. I saw the past data but it can go up and down as it's the transition of the season. Bring a warm jacket that you can take off easily might help. :)
Hi, the major cherry blossoms season in Tokyo finish by then usually, but you might be able to see some in Shinjuku Gyoen. If you like to see more cherry blossoms, you might need to travel north of Japan.
@@milkteajjang1239 Hi, I checked my past photos from April 9th, and I see lots of cherry blossoms actually. Unless the cherry blossom bloom blooms very early this year, you can enjoy cherry blossoms around that time at Chidorigafuchi.👍🌸
Hello! I love the video. It's so informative. We are travelling to Tokyo on April 19 to 25, I'm not sure if we can still see some Cherry Blossoms in Tokyo. If not, where can we see it on the later part of April in full-bloom? And would appreciate if you'll recommend ways on how to get there? I'm travelling with 2 seniors and 2 teenagers. Thank you so much. 🙂
Hello Joy san, thank you for watching the video. That's great you are visiting here in April! It's a season Tokyo is filled with light green. 🌱As for cherry blossoms, you might need to go a few hours north by Shinkansen. Let me do some research. I'd like to comment here again later. :)
If you like to be where the cherry blossoms are full bloom in late April, that would be far north in Aomori in Hirosaki castle. Sapporo will not be blooming yet. Hirosaki is a famous spot for cherry blossoms even though I haven’t been there. However, there is a possibility it’s not fully blooming yet in late April as it changes every year. If you don’t have any other plans during your stay, it might worth visiting. If that is difficult for your family, you might be able to visit Shinjuku Gyoen for late cherry blossoms as I showed in this video. Wish you the best trip. :)

Kenchan, on the weekend during the sakura season, if going to crowded area like Yoyogi Park or Shinjuku Gyon, is 9 am early enough to avoid the big crowd? Thx
Edna san, I think so. Yoyogi park is easy to enter the park, but Shinjuku Gyoen has gate, so it can be a long line to get the tickets especially at Shinjuku Gate near Shinjuku Sanchome station. I usually go into the garden from "Sendagaya gate", located in the south of the garden near JR Sendagaya / Toei Kokuritsu Kyogijomae station. It's much easier this side.

Hello, thank you for your message. Many cherry blossoms might have turned green by the time you arrive Tokyo. But that's great you can travel to other cities.
