I wanna know who the guy is on the little title screen for the “Plunge for Distance” St. Louis 1904. His tattoo work looks excellent and I’d be really interested in seeing the rest of it to see what the full design is. It looks like an Asian design but it’s difficult to tell.

Speed skiing needs to be an Olympic sport. Just throw on some hockey pads and call it a day.

Why did you feel the urge to mock ski ballet? At least it's an actual sport unlike curling. Making fun of the music or outfits? Well God knows how long it's gonna take for people to make fun of what we are wearing now, 10, 15 years? Who knows.
I agree there is no reason to mock Ski Ballet, It taught me how to ski on my outside edge, ski backwards and do a 360.
And I loved the fluro ski suits, I've still got mine for when they come back in fashion.
However I think curling is also a good sport as it encourages participants of all ages, as does skiing.
I have a bigger problem with bobsleigh, luge and skeleton bob as they are completely unavailable to the average person. It seems that those competitors spend more time every day in the gym, than they spent a year on their sled. Not my idea of sport.
Really? Idc if you like or didnt like Ski Hallet but why make fun of Curling? Curling is more of a sport than ski ballet EVER will be

I think I remember the ski ballet but I didn’t remember that was what it was called. Doesn’t interest me now so I doubt it interested me then.
It was briefly called Acroski. The name change was just tool to allow FIS to say 'Acroski' had no supporters.

Yes I agree, though a newer sport, it is as popular as Jiu Jitsu from Japan if not more popular now.

Some how Trampolining became a medal sport in the 2016 Rio Olympics. How? that is athletic but what are they judging for? what is the parameters not much could I find on that side, could find more about the Synchronized swim rules then for Trampolining.
Its a bit like a mix of gymnastics and diving, athletes perform routines made up of different jumps and flips and are scored on difficulty and technique (I believe). There's also synchronised trampolining where two athletes must perform the routine in synch on separate trampolines.
trampolining is a gymnastics event just like bars or rings. idk why people are so upset by it. i did gymnastics when i was little and there's trampolines in nearly every gymnastics gym ever
