We just started my 8 year old daughter’s locs on the 17th. I have never been talented with doing hair and my daughter is tenderheaded. We wanted something beautiful and low maintenance that still showcased the beauty of natural hair.

I self-installed my locs, officially on Jan 2nd 2023. Looking forward to hitting that 1-year! 🤗

Its been 7 months on my loc journey, this will be my second set. I started them my self, my anniversary will be on 23 of feb next year. I started off using conditioner on them but I forgot that you should always dilute it and always do a good job on rinsing it out, same with shampoos. A couple of days ago I saw at the very bottom of a loc a bit of white stuff...

Would you be so kind as to comment on how to tell if one's scalp is itching because of dryness vs. oily from sebum/product buildup. I can't tell if I have dry scalp or oily scalp. Thank you in advance for your response. ♥your informative vids.

I’m ready to start my loc journey. I want coils with c parts. I would love to come to you but I’m in PA…. The Loctician I was referred to does a mandatory 2 week retwist on starter Locs for the first 3-6 months. Is that safe or should I find someone else? Seems a bit excessive and possibly problematic. What do you recommend

I am on my second lic journey as of 10/3/22. My hair is very soft mixed gray and black and grows outside of the Loc. Because of that, I restarted because they were too small and had to be joined. Do you have any advice for this new journey?

Hi Courtney, I am new to your channel . I am loving it so far . I have shoulder length 4c hair. I am thinking about starting my loc journey with two strand twist. Unfortunately I have scalp psoriasis and I currently use a medicated shampoo to get rid of it. Is it possible to maintain locs with scalp psoriasis? And do you recommend any products for my loc journey ?
