A very good show.
it’s a show about a chosen family and ballroom culture in nyc. it’s set mainly in the 80s and features an all lgbt cast. it’s such good representation for lgbt people, especially for black trans women. and from what i’ve heard from the trans people who survived those times, the show is pretty accurate, though they did give it a nicer ending than most trans people experienced.
It's a drama series about Ballroom culture in 1980s New York.

I actually looked at transgender journals when I was studying Biology at university 2 years ago and quite frankly there not a lot of research at the moment to come to any valid conclusions and it could take decades before we have any clear facts, if you know how science works, I guess you do since you are "educated".

While I partialy support what you say, the question is should we then create separate categories for all other types of fetishes or identity issues? Maybe they are not as trendy in media yet but how much time will pass until people who think they are cats or Elvis will demand their own category? How far will it go? How much money should be spent on it? I dont think any privileges shall be given for someones personal problems. Alternatively - lets just make one open category and thats it. Do we realy need separate women/men prizes in acting?
