    One of the most influential voices in comedy, Jerrod Carmichael is set to host the 80th Annual Golden Globe® Awards.
    The three-hour telecast serves as the official kickoff to the 2023 awards season and will air live coast-to-coast on Tuesday, January 10, 2023 at 8 p.m. ET/5 p.m. PT from The Beverly Hilton in Beverly Hills, California, on NBC and Peacock.
    The Golden Globe Awards is one of the biggest nights on the calendar for live viewing. It's also one of the few awards shows that combines the honorees of both film and television.
    Produced by Dick Clark Productions and Jesse Collins Entertainment in association with the HFPA, the Golden Globe Awards are viewed in more than 210 territories worldwide. Helen Hoehne is president of the HFPA. Jesse Collins and Dionne Harmon will serve as executive producers.

    “You make people want to live longer, and I didn’t.” To drop that right at the end, in what was very obviously a stream-of-consciousness speech, is both heartbreaking and moving. I hope she gets far more time in the spotlight, she more than deserves it.

    Jennifer Coolidge is a lot like Brendan Fraser. I think they both thought their careers were over but the fans always stuck with both of them. I think it goes a long way with show creators and casting directors. Helps them remember or see just how talented they are. Nice to see her get her flowers

      Not really. atleast brendan became a hollywood idol and enjoyed his peak along side dicaprio and brad pitt. Jennifer Coolidge never had her peak(understandable, she's funny but one note), her career is mostly her own doing(or undoing). Brendan was ruined by execs. Brendan has the highest highs and lowest lows, while Jennifer just float around.

      Brendan Fraser was a legitimate A-List actor who was blacklisted after being sexually assaulted by a Hollywood executive and went into a depressive spiral afterwards. Jennifer Coolige is a supporting role actor who struck gold with this series.

    When I worked on 2 Broke Girls for 6 seasons with Jennifer, she was one of the most authentically nice people you could ever meet. She ALWAYS had time to say hi to the audience members, sign autographs, and take pictures with them. Plus, she was just funny as hell to talk to. I am happy for her.

    In my 20s I worked in a bougie stationery/gift store in LA and met many stars, Jennifer Coolidge included. She was the most considerate, real, humble and interesting person I met there. She once offered to take me across the street for a coffee, she complimented me, always tipped (for gift wrapping) generously, and was just so down-to-earth. I told her I was a fan, especially of Best In Show. She said it was the most fun movie to film. I am so happy for her, she deserves all the accolades she’s getting! My hubby and I just binged both seasons of White Lotus and she is awesome; so so funny! Go Jennifer!!!

    She reminds me of my friend with ADD. She goes in so many different directions at once, but says enough to make her points. And most importantly, she’s incredibly frank and open. I’m glad to see she’s finally getting recognized. I always thought she was great!

    She's pretty much like a lot of us who speak in public and go in so many directions because we just have so much to say but never get a chance to express it. Good for you Jennifer! Glad she got the nod and appreciation she deserves for being in the industry this long. I love her nod to Mike White that moved him to tears. Sweet woman. They should have given us the uncensored version in another video. LOL.

      I was so glad that she got it all out because as soon as she started speaking I was onboard for the ride 😅 and also very thankful that they didn’t play her off with music too soon (even tho eventually they did). She’s so genuine and so deserved this award! Love her 🥹😍

    Jennifer is awesome. I work in a bar in New Orleans, where she maintains a home, and she comes in occasionally. She is super down to earth, funny, curses like a sailor, and cool as hell when people recognize her. Pretty cool to see some Hollywood people around, especially when they're as grounded and relatable as Jen. Good for her, super happy for her win tonight!

    This is more than a comeback for her, this is the peak of her acting career (so far...). Critically acclaimed performance in a huge HBO show, winning Emmy and a Golden Globe. Goes to show we all have different journeys and achieve things at different ages. She's hilarious & so talented, I hope there are some great roles for her in the future - let's go for that Oscar!!

    There’s been some countless iconic speeches at the Golden Globes throughout the years and I can say with confidence that this right here deserves to be in that pantheon of the very best. Just amazing to be living at the same time as Jennifer Coolidge and Mike White. Her tribute to Mike White was both hilarious and beautifully moving. There’s no better connection than someone telling the world that this person made you want to live longer. I hope Mike somehow resurrects her character or create a new one that once again showcases Jennifer’s talents. Thanks for being you, Jennifer Coolidge.

    After I had seen “Best in Show” it really made realize how intelligent and savvy you have to be in order to play some of her roles, despite the character coming off as oblivious. After watching this she comes off as SO humble too. What a special human. Great season of White Lotus too. Such good writing with soooooo much built up pressure by the end.
