Disclaimer: you may notice the railway tracks behind me in the video. I am in no way encouraging anyone to walk active railways. This spur line has not been used in 30+ years. There are mature trees growing between the rails and washouts throughout the line. Use caution!
Hey everyone, before I tell you about the video I just want to say no big are caught or even targeted in this video. Have you ever just wanted some small fish action? You have been chasing big fish for a while with some success. Then the weather gets hot, humid and the biting insects are out. Well, working hard for fish isn't as appealing in these conditions. I have some small ponds close to home that have a variety of hungry small sunfish and panfish. I went out for a few hours and slammed the little guys, averaging almost 1 fish per minute and that includes time spent taking under water video. Hope you enjoy the little fishies!
    Cheers and tight lines!

You know it bud! Sometimes its okay to catch small fish lol, especially when you average 1 per minute. It does get old after a bit but every once in a while it is what I want! Easy action!

I love them little guys, I wouldn't fish like this all the time, that would get old eventually lol. I like 1 or 2 small fish days every summer.

Nice spot, wish I had something close like that loaded with fish. Nothing wrong with a day of catching lots of fish

I drove this day because it was so hot but I've walked to this spot from my house many times. About 5km distance.

When i was a young teenager "1984-ish" I set a minnow trap there. When I checked it a few days later I had caught a bunch of sunfish. I didn't know until that day that we had sunfish in the area.

In Highland or Minnow Pond? I haven't seen any in other lakes. Only two lakes I know about around Atikokan

If I may ask where abouts are you Fishing

Northwestern Ontario Canada. Just north of lakes that have bluegill. This is about how much variety we get for small fish. If I go north it's pretty much just rock bass and perch, no sunfish.
