nothing have a great tuning, but even me who's not an audiophile can tell the difference between nothing ear, and something that cost more like denonperl, or 1more evo, the evo, which now cost less than $100(clearance sale) sounds on a different league, you just cannot beat dual driver with proper tuning
I totally agree! I have a pair of Edifier WH950NB ANC headphones for daily use while I'm walking around the house or still while studying or the occasional watching video (bought reduced at £130) and the soundcore sport X20 as a pair of do-it -all earbuds for out and about and for running (bought reduced at £70) so for less than the price of a single expensive pair I have two different products to serve different purposes. I have a couple of wired IEMs and a couple of over head headphones when I want to sit and enjoy a musical listening experience indoors and work on my music or mixing music live. Every product it ultimately just a tool that serves a purpose and for most, a wireless earbuds purpose is to be easy to take around and for having background music while doing something else or spoken word content like podcasts or audiobooks I'm very heavy on the podcast consumption) which simply just doesn't require amazing sound quality to be enjoyed. It's very rare to come across earbuds from an at least somewhat known brand where the sound quality is a prominent complaint in customer reviews for that reason
After using Sony WF-1000XM4s for a year now, I completely agree with you. Never gonna buy expensive TWS ever again. It is best to put that money on over the ear Headphones instead.
In case of durability of Nothing Ear, I had previously used it, Mostly due to my butter fingers, I dropped it several times and lo behold the outer casing of the buds & case (😅) came out. Yes, I had dropped the case too. So if you are prone (magically) to dropping, would suggest to go Ear fun pro 3, I had dropped it once, no visible or audio issues so far… yes I had dropped the ear fun’s case too 😂
Another great video fellas. There are so many solid options at around 99$, never mind the discounts like you mentioned. Yes I have several that cost 200$+, I use my SCL4 the most 😬😬 80$ on sale!
Yep. I am one of that boring dude that puts audio quality above everything and everyone and ... I love that video XD There is nothing out of balance here. If you whan't something portable, you will pay de price, and even when your money grows on trees. spending too much on something that will turn into trash in 3 years is missing the point. I have my Moondrop Necocake and it was cheap at the time. It has excellent sound and the rest is kind of mediocre, And I like it, I love this little piece of plastic, and it sticks with me wherever I go... And it's dying after 3 years xD And that's OK, since I didn't have to sell a kidney to buy it.
Great video guys! There's another more obscure, perhaps, reason and that's because I buy them as my hobby and buying less expensive ones allows me to buy more and since each comes with their own flavour of sound , you get a lot more sound possibilities to keep it interesting. I also agree that IEMs are a fantastic other option and they have become part of my hobby too. Again the cheaper ( but surprisingly amazing sounding) ones! Thanks so much for this!
If you guys have an honorable mention section, I would go with the Jlab Air Pro excellent sound and a solid app and great for found calls. It has an ambient mode that works great outdoors while running. It seems to pickup road noise from cars and bikes really well. In the US, it only costs 59.00, and it is often on sale for $35.00.
Great take guys. Now that good/great has come down so much in price.. and they are continually getting better, makes sense to save money and spend it over a longer period. For so many reasons as you’ve said.
Totally. Got myself 2 Liberty 4 NC recently on discount. Not perfect but good enough for my use. Higher price than that I would go for headphones instead
FINALLY SOMEONE SAID IT! Ive always said that 5000 to 7000 rupees is the sweet spot and they have gotten good as compared to those 2-3 years back. And if they die (which they will) you can just buy a new pair
I don't prioritize sound quality. Don't get me wrong, I need it to be inoffensive. But if I want really good sound quality, I'm usually going with a proper analog set. I use wireless for convenience, active noise, cancellation, assistant functionality, etc...
Personally, Hardware matters, Denon Pearl Pro is streets ahead of the majority when it comes to soundstage, Imaging and sound custom settings, I upgraded from the Galaxy Buds pro 2, regardless of all the extra features in the Samsung eco system, the Pearl are way better, I found them better then some mid-range over ear cans. Just my opinion, keep up the good work :)
@@DHRMEI never go in the shower with nice earbuds on. Only bring any earbuds that I won't be that upset if I lose. I was using like a $15 neckband I got from monster solitaire for a while.
I have several headphones, earbuds, iems, ove ear, open buds, wired headphones i really love listen quality music and i think is real that you dont need to buy expensive earbuds but definitly you can notice the difference between cheap and more expensive earbuds
Good advice thank you guys Today I found a deal Samsung Buds 2 Pro for 85 euros. Main use will be calls does it worth to buy or are there other options under 90 euros?
After a lot of frustration and multiple battery changes I’m ready to flush my Sony xm4’s down the toilet. But the choices especially in this mid tier earbud segment are mind boggling. I’m looking at the following: 1) Sony Linkbuds S: $129 2) Samsung Galaxy Buds2 pro: $120 3) 1More evo buds: $86 What would you choose? I’m really only concerned with audio quality and ANC performance. I don’t think Sony has completely solved their battery issues even on the Linkbuds and while I currently have a Samsung Galaxy s23 phone I also use Apple products as well as devices from other manufacturers so not tied to any one ecosystem. Any other wireless earbuds you like and can recommend? I’m suffering from analysis paralysis!
I've had good luck with one more products. My one more dual drivers tws (which I've owned for now 3 and 1/2 years) are still going strong. Whereas my Liberty 3 pro, which have a much better app, now usually only charge to like 70 or 80%. I haven't tried the Evo personally, but their neckband and their tws are probably two of my favorite products. But the app is almost worthless or at least it was for those products. Other than firmware updates, which are no longer coming for the products I have, there was little value to the app.
Another XM4 user here, you might wanna consider replacing the batteries yourself if you have the skill, AND also do a firmware downgrade at the same time. My own XM4 has no battery issues on 1.3.3 at all, an year after battery replacement on both sides. Battery is pretty easy to replace compared to the nightmare that is the AirPods, and firmware downgrades can be done using modified Sony Headphones app available online.
Went with the Technics eah-az60m2's. Generally excellent reviews across the board, no wonky reliability, battery, bluetooth connection issues, good sound and anc, works well with both Apple and Samsung. Could be the answer to my earbud problems.
personally, i'd rather spend my 200$ on a 100$ tws and a 100$ wired IEM than going all in for either of them. Like they said, don't put all eggs in one basket
Honestly, I usually just wait 6 to 12 months. The product you want is usually available for like $0.60 in the dollar at most. Liberty 3 pro or 170 I think brand new and now you can find them for $75 every other week. Galaxy buds, pixel buzz etc or now easy to find for like a hundred off MSRP.
The challenge is differentiating between want and need. Unfortunately we end up going for what we think we want than what we need and try to justify in our minds that what we want is what we need.
2:32 You agree that Apple AirPods are the only earbuds that are reliable and worth the expense, yet your thumbnail specifically targets AirPods as the expensive earbuds we shouldn’t buy?😂
Another terrific video guys! I couldn’t agree more with the 11 points - I’m always looking for that performance / value sweet spot! They may not be the $99 price point but I recommended the Moondrop SpaceTravel to a clumsy careless family member 😉 A 100% win
What changed things for me was when I bought a $70 set for work to prevent damage or losing my premium buds,, only to be more happy with the $70 set and now I only use them
totally underated channel!!! you guys deserve so much more ❤️👍

Yes, less than $100 Ear buds is more than enuf. For Audiophiles, (nothing) is enuf, even if they buy $1k ear buds, they will not be easily satisfied.

But are wired IEMs like the Moondrop Dusk worth their money?
🤔
buy a premium tws like sony xm5 for magic time and a cheap tws like samsung galaxy buds fe for the casual use
At this point, my main driver is the utws5 with iems. Usually either cklvx or letshouer galileo
Guys all of the youtubers post a review of new sonos ace headphones today you are the only one left? How long can we expect a review from you ?
Hahaha you have high hopes. Not yet.
99.00 sounds about right. Eventually, most of the tech in a 200 pair trickles down at some point.
Madlads haha. You are brave to share an unpopular opinion. I also don't see the point of spending so much given they fail so often like my mtw 3
Precisely!
