"Hold on while I unscrew my knife!"
Hahahaah xDD
LoL
Stefano Rinaldi
You'll surely end him rightly though...
And you have to unscrew the pommel and throw it on your enemy 🤔😂😂😂
The knife is cool, but why in the hell would you ever need to unscrew your knife? Why is there a rubber o-ring on the hilt if the sheath has a drainage hole at the bottom? That defeats the whole reason to having a seal. It's like this knife was designed by a genius and an idiot together.
Atheris Green I think it is to discourage its usage as a weapon. Makes it very slow on the draw.
TheApokaliptic it is used by austrian sf from what i understand.
Chandler Hermansen Nope. Military will be in a shitstorm if they do so much as being seen holding a tri-dagger. The Geneva Convention bans it.
It has the same name as the sf unit because the creators thought it will sound cool, but it has no connection to the unit whatsoever.
TheApokaliptic why are tri edged blades banned? And can one use one at home for self defense?
MeisterSexy11 They are banned for military use because their purpose is to make wounds that are difficult to sanitate/heal and it is unethical to do that.
The best common weapon for home defense is a shotgun. If you can't get a firearm it is best to have a short two handed sword like a wakizashi. If it has to be a knife the best one is a bowie.
Tri-daggers are not practical. Whether any of these objects is legal to own depends on the laws in your country.
If everything else is not an option a baseball bat is pretty useful and it is sports equipment, it should be legal.
If you can afford this tri-dagger, you can also afford something more practical instead.
Impressive knife. A true piece of art.
Can't wait for mine to arrive.
When I was a young man I spoke with my girlfriend's grandfather who was a surgeon in WWII. He showed me several different bayonets that were used by the Germans in the war. He wanted to know what was making the wounds so he saved them. The last one he showed me was a three-sided bayonet blade that he said made the worst wounds for him to work on at the time.
I need a JagdKommando OTF auto! I think MT should build one as a display item, full size. Imagine the spring it would take and the kick! Awesome. A mini-Jag OTF would be pretty cool too, I'd buy one.
"As far as usability, maybe not on the top." REALLY?? That knife isn't even fucking legal in war!!!
It takes three surgeons to seal the wound and the person stabbed bleeds to death in a matter if minutes.
+Kronos Titan thats mostly a false statement on 9gag
Amin Hy lol. nope. saw the statement, THEN replied.
+Kronos Titan doges assemble!
+Kronos Titan Dude im not saying youre wrong, but Ive seen more than one source says that geneva conventional doesn't include this knifr or any knife out there. Also many people say its not correct it takes a team of sergeants to heal the wound just and it is impractical just like the guy in the video. But again, it is the Internet maybe what I read is wrong maybr youre wrong, but im leaning twords its wrong and false information about the knife and people just came up with because it is an expensive knife
Great vid, nice piece of art wish I could afford the Titanium version. Thank you BladeOps for posting this!
Totally agree with the unscrewing silliness! That and the 800 dollar price tag blew that idea right outta the water
Pronounce it as: "Jaakt commando". It's German, meine Herrschaften :)
Jawoll mein Fü...Freund.
For english speakers it would have to be written like this: "iaagd commando" to spell it somewhat right ^^
Paul Mares
Or "Yaakt commando"
It's actually an Austrian knife. Not German 😝
Jon Doe it's Austrian 😛
That sheath could really improve for fast sheathing/arming, and slightly larger handguard, but cool trench knife remake.
That has me just in awe at this kife's uniqueness and deadly beauty. It is wicked!!!
Forget J. Alba ! That knife is wanna the most beautiful things I've ever seen !
Good work man, keep it up !
I don't know how I feel about the twisting action to unsheathe the knife
440 stainless, maybe if it was a higher grade it would be worth $799, tops id give $150
+hazel nicole Totally agree. Crazy price.
Not even full tang either. Not worth that price.
+Joe Hulse it has to be screw on because its a tri blade and also one stab it can't be sewn up because its a triangular hole and the victim will bleed out very quickly it was banned in the war because of it
+phoenix de-giorgi (niobium craft) No. Triangular blades are not banned. It's also been rumoured tat it was banned to sharpen bayonets, also untrue.
Weapons are banned under the "rules of warfare" for causing undue suffering. Not for having higher lethality.
Keep in mind stabbing anyone with this practically means death. It's the most difficult wound to patch up even for the best doctors and you'll bleed out in minutes.
I guess it is a good conversation piece. I cant imagine it being useful out side of that. Especially with the screwing to open and the lanyard hole being such a weak point if ever used. I actually think they should of gone for more of a twist since its so impractical.
I see a lot of Zombie-Apocolypse usage here.
+Vespertide 315 (Wub Army) haha you know it.
It's only a thrust weapon. it's for draining blood, i don't think zombies have the need for blood, only the hunger for it. attach it to a spear for optimal use.
you can use it to stab the brain
They need to make one of those with a bayonet lug so I can mount one on my AR. Talk about badass!
Man I would love to pay almost a grand for a knife I can't use for anything other than stabbing. I could get more use out of a brick.
it slices. the sides are razor sharp.
Have you ever seen the cutting vs stabing blood loss tables Col. Fairbairn worked out? It shows that stabing results in loss of consciousness or death significantly then cutting and his tables are considered to have generous time-frames.
This knife could be mounted on a modern tactical vest via the molle webbing in a tip up pectoral cross draw, appendix carry or, horizontal and just those give it huge versatility.
With a little practice at a twist then pull deployment happens in one motion and, with a point down grip I expect it would go through a skull or a lvl 3 stab vest.
Integral knife mean storage handle, blade is one solid piece of titanium- which may have required a custom milling set and that kinda shit is not cheap
So you want to kill a person? He meant for real uses man
+Kenneth Irgendwas (Whyzocker) my comment was made with a sarcastic tone to show the uselessness of this knife. Speaking from actual combat experience in Afghanistan, a knife that can ONLY be used as a weapon won't get any real use. A knife that can be used as a tool as well as a weapon would be worth it's weight in gold. That's probably why actual soldiers and marines wouldn't use this hunk of metal. A good old fashioned k-bar will always win out as a combat knife over a spiral gimmick "knife"
It's more durable though, as it's 100% steel, which means it can't fall into pieces as easily as knives with grips and other parts made out of different materials f. ex. if you throw it into wood, but yeah it's overpriced.
That is one sick blade!
That looks very impressive!
this knife is designed for killing not cutting.
SS is brittle and hollow handle knives are weak, unscrewing a knife from a sheath is stupid, slow and would get you killed in an emergency situation.
Its even designed to make suffer.
Is it a german knife ? Because Jagd is a German word for hunting
Yannik Haug German design made in the US
BladeOps you say the word funny haha
Jagdkommando is an Austrian Special Force
Yannik Haug supposed to have been made for the austrian jagdkommandos (special forces)
twinpeninsulas peninsulas Bullshit. There was no reason for that name other that them thinking it sounds badass, it has no connection with the special forces unit. Military is not allowed to even think of a tri-dagger, let along use one in combat.
You can make a 3 sided blade from an old triangular file.
The 3 sided blade, provides and uneven cut / wound.
This prevents easy repair / stitching.
The wound created by the blade, would be monstrous, and cause heavy internal and external bleeding.
If used correctly, and owned by the right "Collector". This beautiful blade would be indeed a lethal weapon.
Truly a work of art !
I think this is a truly beautiful knife.I guess it's not practical at all because you can't stab nor slice with it,but still, the way the three blades lead to the point fascinates me.
Why could you not stab with it? Seems to me that's pretty much what you could do with it LOL
@@aarongentile7232 Should I edit a seven year old comment? I think I always meant to write 'cut' instead of 'stab'. In this regard I was wrong for sure. However, you're not unscrewing this knife in the heat of battle. So maybe it's not even a good option for a shank after all...
Haha you should. I was just about commenting how wrong your "stab"-assumption is. It's mostly illegal around the western world because it causes wounds nearly impossible to stich up. It's a knife for warfare, nothing else.
I was trying to figure out what this could be used for. The best I can figure is stabbing a target that has body armor on. It would also be good if one was attacked by a bear, lion or other large animal. Underwater, perhaps a diver could stab a hole in a boat with it and sink an enemy, I'm sure that would penetrate a fiberglass hull. But mostly, maybe MT wanted to show off their machining skill, which they certainly have.
+guiltyspark66 Actually since it stabs in a rotating motion the blade would more than likely sink into armor up to the point then get caught in the armor at the twist due to increase friction from the twisting motion and surface area. Knives have been flat and straight for thousands of years for a reason.
+Dean Smith "knifes" huh?.....dumbass...
RollingSuds06 best you got huh. Good luck with life
It's all that was needed hahahahahahah!!!!!... good luck with your KNIFES!!! HAHAHAHA!!!! DOLT!!
RollingSuds06 You too bud.
I agree probably not the most useful knife but easily the most beautiful knife I've seen in a long time
this is a post/tenting knife correct? Rounded grip. Guessing they could not sell it as a post knife or hole digger so they re branded it?

How do you sharpen this?
You don't. Once it gets blunt, you have to buy a new one :P
Anyone knows where I can find a video on how these are made? I can't find any!
so can it be use as the same as handling fairbairn-sykes?
its more of a novelty item, no use for hunting, bushcraft or even self defense. The problem with the need to unscrew it first makes it a problem when using it to defend yourself or even attack someone with it.
If you got stabbed with this anywhere on your body, it could kill you from excess blood loss in a short period of time. This ain't a knife, it's a murderous spearhead.
I could imagine this making short work of large predatory animals.
it's the austrian armed special forces official knife
Nolan White any knife can do more excessive blood loss than that and would still have unparalleled advantage like being used as a survival tool. its a hand held blade up t you to turn it into a spear but if thats the case i'd just go for a full tang tac spear.
+Michael Harto Maybe so, if the "Austrian armed special forces" you refer to happen to be a bunch of armchair commandos smoking crack.
+Robert Miles hahahaha i'm just random idiot.. don't burn me at the stake
"GAME OVER"
"you died!"
XD
I don't know anything about knives and I've never seen a knife like this. But I'm curious what the use is for this? Didn't like like it cal fillet or cut. Maybe a specialized use?
It is specifically designed for thrust. That's about the only practical use you can get out of it.
Crazy knife! Thanks for showing it. Would like to know how many are sold.
Can it be used to cut potatoes?
no
xD Potatoes = Human :v You Can *Cut* *Human* :v
what can you do with it besides looking at it or killing something in torturing way ??
Protecting yourself or loved ones
I mean... a gun would do that more efficiently and it's cheaper. You don't need to kill someone slowly and painfully to "protect loved ones"
And why would you use a weapon made for killing instead of a weapon made for non-lethal damage then?
It's only $7.99 I want 2 of them !!
no its $999 on their website
U said washer on the threaded cap, it is a o ring that makes it water tight. Great looking knive. I want one
can you do a vid of this against ballistics gel?
That's one Knife i don't want to get stabbed with
No shit
Hope he ment $7.99
work of art!!
lots of machining there...
I really like the holes in it. It's air cooled so it doesn't over heat during rapid fire.
dude that must hurt
That would be an interesting way to cut your steak
It's supposed to be used for stavning people and the wound you get from it is so big it can't heal...
laggmaster0
I know, just thought I'd take a jab at marfione for that design, Looks cool but not practical for me. Lol
@right1left6 but its specialized design makes it very VERY good at that
"Its not at the top of list", you said.
I am interested to know whats your top of the list. Thanks
if you get stabbed with it its not possible to close the wound
It is possible, but its really hard to
it takes a team of 12 surgeons
I guess you could sear the wound shut if you really had to though
i think this is a lie
no ..3sided knifes are banned by geneva convention...not even joking, its war crime.
I thought you meant 7.99 not 799.00
That what I thought too
I wish it was 7.99
How do you get the titanium one
that blade is SWEET!
800 dollars?! HAHAHAHHA fuck that shit
Not the "top" of the usability list? An $800 dagger that takes several consecutive seconds tying up one hand doing something it has to do for no other knife to deploy?
Yeah. Not quite the top.
I’m sure that you would be able to find another, custom made sheath, that being said, I 100% agree with you.
Good point. My first thought upon seeing the blade was how much it would suck to get that stuck in your side. There would be no walking away from that. However, to have any hope of successfully landing that attack, you'd have to have the knife out long before approaching your target. Not only is it slow and cumbersome to draw, but I bet it makes some noise as it unscrews too. Definitely not something one could rely on in a pinch.
Wtf dawg ...
It’s a very stylish tool to get the core out of apples with half a twist, I love it's style
aluminum, threaded sheath. ..ok
Okay. I'm here to set to rest the "WHY THE HECK WOULD YOU SPEND $800 ON THIS PIECE OF CRAP" "WHY THE UNSCREWY-NESS" "NO SLICE? JUST STABBY-STAB?"
Diving, people. Diving.
This knife proves ridiculous killing power not just against people, but against anything. This is a beautiful knife for the diver who doesn't want their knife to just slide out while diving but wants to have the ultimate close defense weapon while submerged.
I think it's one of the coolest knives I've ever seen. :P
Not worth $800.
+John F. Kennedy A man being attacked by a shark is...
No, because they'd be dead before they could unscrew the damn thing.
John F. Kennedy lol
***** Or a shark...
That is the coolest knife I've ever seen
It's a work of art! It's BEAUTIFUL! it's like a rose beautiful yet dangerous. I feel pity for whoever is at the wrong end I f it . That wound will never heel. If they survive that is. BEAUTIFUL!
the thing looks like a fucking dildo
it could be bloody!
To each his own but I couldn't recommend it... :P
Ribbed for her pleasure.
Its actually illegal in the US to use, but it takes a team of surgeons to seal up a wound
uh, no it doesn't, that's fucking bullshit. All you need is a few stitches.
No, You're wrong. The reason it takes a team of surgeons because its a Triblade (Tri standing for Three), The wound would be deep considering the blade is around 8-10 inches long, The blade is twisted and so when someone would insert the blade into someone, the blade would spin, causing more wounds inside the body, let alone, it would make more gashes and cuts just trying to take it out, It would cause a insane amount of bleeding, and the man who was stabbed would die in a possibility of 30 mins or less due to excessive blood loss. I Want to see you try to seal up the wounds of your friend who got stabbed with this god-forsaken knife.
You can get a 13.8" BMF Trigonet Fixed Three Edge Blade Military Bayonet Knife very similar to this except for $10.00 - $12.00 :)
That would probably be perfect for lashing as a spear, with the twist design making it spin in mid air for better range.
Facebook brought me here
lol same not what i was expecting
800 $ for a knife? muricans are crazy...
alexandru vrabie You haven't seen a thing if you think $800 is top of the price range.
Jrezky guess i haven t...ah well live and learn
alexandru vrabie As soon as it gets to custom made knives you'd be lucky if you find something below 800$
Lord Spamalot well this is mass produced so...
alexandru vrabie It lies with the expensive materials and craftsmanship which go into the making of it. I guess some enthusiasts are willing to pay for the high quality. I guess you could say humans will always have a fascination with sharp tools, it's why we're here today.
How i can get this jugdkommando knife? Because i am really want to buy this
how the wump do u sharpen that thing
Who's here because of facebook

What the hell, I'm not black? Don't be so racist anyway.

+Stevie Smith 9gag
Lol next time you wanna say a fucking price, say the whole fucking thing! Don't say seven ninetynine...I thought first it meant 7,99 I was really excited to get one so cheap xD Then I saw the site, and it actually seven HUNDRED and ninetynine...but yeah...say the full price next time.
He could say the full price or, Or, OR you could just not be fucking stupid and figure it out, he said 799 and in the next sentence said its really pricey. On what planet would a $7.99 Knife be pricey you fucking idiot?
Hetzer Hasser are you fucking stupid? You can't even buy the worst cheap blade for 7$ moron
dumbass for thinking a knife like that would could 8 bucks. fuckin naive dawg
BlaRaRa33 hell yeah
I wonder who pitched the sheath at Microtech. "Hey guys, let's make it screw into the sheath and seal with an O-ring... but put a drainage hole at the bottom.
Brilliant. Just brilliant.
Can you buy from a supplier in Australia?
Who's here because of 9gag ?
me
Look dope right?
me hahah
I am
I am a german vegan crossfitter femenist and i vape
The most pointless knife that I've ever seen.
It has quite a sharp point actually
Chesse Fart but as a defense tool how are you gonna deploy it fast ? You have to unscrew it .... and a nice quality reinforced drop point tip with be just as sharp as a matter of face pretty much any knife point is sharp. Its a pointless defensive knife at the extremely shit price of 700$ I could buy much better defense blades for that price
+A.J. Rusinek it causes almost irreparable wounds and is illegal to use is war
+A.J. Rusinek It can take up to a team of surgeons to close the wound caused by this knife.
John Whiteman but how will you deploy it fast ? You have to unscrew it and by the time you have actually got it out you'll be dead.
Do you have a sales link
If I had that money, I would totally buy it. I know it's not a very usable blade, but who cares? It's just awsome. Would be great in my collection.
Just a question: do the edges scratch the sheath when you pull out the knife?
Nice stuff, man!
Молодец какой, с контакта забрал инфу)
Bro, this is a tool. It is a very versatile tool that can be used for things like substituting for a wire whisk, or a screwdriver. Basically anything you can think of. =3
can the generics come out allready
this would require good strenght to pierce someone with it, the use of this blade is a very precise course of circonstences that will likely never occur even if one desired so. this is a piece of art to be picking dust at best.
Yes if you are serving for a country under the contract of the convention, for private security or civilians its completely legal, basically if your military u cant carry, then again most people ignore the smaller stuff of the convention, many servicemen carry hollow points and such which are also illegal do to how they can fragment, and are extremely difficult to remove, while FMJ or armor piercing passes through making field stitching much easier
As far as i know the holes in the blades are to allow air inside while stabbing so the damage is bigger and there's 100% chance of an infection
That is one beautiful knife my man. I just couldn't help thinking, wow that would hurt to get stuck by that beast of a blade or blades rather. Makes me cringe just thinking about, but its a very, very pretty piece to look at though.
maybe to carry openly or concealed depending on your state, nothing is illegal to buy/sell/own/transport in regards to knives and swords.
mais que faca linda, pretendo ter uma...
Is it true that this is illegal in warfare?
This knife is dedicated to the Austrian Special forces "Jagdkommando" witch i belive Microtech is also make a licenced Steyr AUG clone for the US Market.
It's cool to look at though, and to have it in a collection. People will be in awe of it. Show it off and people will be like "wow cool", and suddenly be nicer to you. lol! A great conversation piece.
what is blade material
I chuckled, have a thumbs up ;)
Blade pulls out of an aluminium sheath, constantly dulling the edge, nice!
Can someone tell me why i can purchase a descent quality ar15 for the price of most microtech products including this one?
actually it is a piece of art, BUT its design and blades have a really unique function, there is a small bunch of people who actually understand why its designed like this, this knife is definetly not made for cutting but for stabbing, its spiral blades will make a bigger area of efifcience when you stab something, which will cause damage of a bunch of blood vessels, and the holes inside of it make it very easy for blood to get out of the vessels because without these holes, the blade would actually block the blood passage and slow down the bleeding, so these holes allow the blood to get out of the body as soon as possible. This blade is made for quick silent kills but in the firstplace, for silent hunting as the name is telling THE JAGDKOMMANDO. Hope you understood my comment :)
This might be a dumb question but isn't this knife illegal?
KishinHunter24
In war yes, in use against attackers yes
In hunting no
In collecting bo
In owning no
where can i buy it?
is the knife as deadly as it is pretty?
I have a KA-BAR too and as a useful knife it's just great. Can be used around the garden when tidying up, camping, food prep, opening cans, just general cutting and as a weapon if you really needed it for that. This knife, whilst interesting, looks totally impractical. To make one of mankind's most useful tools almost useless takes a special kind of designer.
How sharp are the edges?
Razor
@ChrisRiley93 wait, $799??? i thought he said like $7.99, but made a mistake and meant to say $79.99. and i thought well 80 bucks seems like a good price for this knife
I heard that this knife can cut someone without even needing to come into contact with that person. Just like Harry Potter's wand, you give it a swirl and the other person suffers from severe slash wounds and dies on the spot. Can someone confirm this ?
