- Just a little base tour of my main base that I put together in about 50 hours of gameplay. I build almost everything before hand in creative mode.
I will be doing more base tours on some of my outposts I have spread across the map.

The stalker in the thumbnail makes me think "mmm goofy doggert"
When I saw that my heart literally dropped. It might have been the best thing I've seen in a video game
Honestly I almost liked this game better than the first. I don't understand why people hate on it so much. Wish I had this base in mine though 😂
Hey all it takes is a bit of imagination and enough will to do it!
For me the problem was the story. Just about everything else about the game was an upgrade, but it lost me with the story.
On my first playthrough I finished half the story, spent the next 30-40 hours doing base decorations and upgrades, and then when I finally decided to try and continue the story.... I got burnt out so quickly I stopped playing.
I'm hoping in the future, they'll rely more on environmental storytelling than simply "Go Here! Now Here! Listen to PDAs in this area for the next 15 minutes!" Otherwise it's a downright phenomenal game.

@@SharkyShocker I have to agree that the first game was better structured in terms of story telling, just too much "running around cuz the game told you to" for my taste, but honestly I didn't even finish the game, didn't feel an urge to do like on other games. Which is weird because it had a lot more cinematics, at least that's how it felt.
Perhaps because it was way easier than the first one, but I don't see a problem with this tbh
Using the spores as light sources? I never thought of that!
It can get very expensive! But it gives a fantastic mood to the underwater part of the base. I brought about a full inventory and a full seatruck storage module to be sure I'd never have to go there again
y'all know you got PTSD from this game, when a gianr snow cliff makes you recoil cause you think it was a fucking leviathen! XD fuck i love these series

Are there graphics mods or reshades involved? Or is this normal? Because it’s BEAUTIFUL.
There are reshades available for the game, plenty of them on Nexus Mods. I honestly can't remember if when I recorded I had them activated. Probably yes.

I know the incandescent light is from Flowering spores placed outside the base.

Thanks mate! I've done some major renovations in the meantime, it has the same design philosophy but it has changed in a lot of aspects, especially in terms of symmetry.

@@alexz1189 I would have liked to help but with the latest update my game has broken and I lost my save, I'm sorry I can't help, but I'll do that in the future if I do another base worth showing.

Thanks man, means a lot! In the meantime it has undergone some pretty major renovations, it is much better now! Maybe i'll redo a tour if I deem it interesting enough.

im dissapointed how you cant have a pet snow stalker in the base game (below zero) without mods
Mods are really easy to install, arguably some of the easiest ones to install in video games. So it is not really a big deal, but I agree with you.
I'm pretty sure you can spawn a snow stalker with console commands might not be that tame tho
Should've picked up glow whale really wanted to see how much inventory wpace it took up

It is indeed a custom poster mod. But due to the relatively recent Terms of Service update of the NexusMods site, many modders have removed their files from the site. If you really want to have it with the posters I have, I can make a WeTransfer link.

To have the snow Stalker as a pet you actually only need one mod, it's the pets mod. And a great part of the mods I use are not available anymore on the Nexus Mods page.

My game is now broken because of the last update, and i have lost my save, i'm sorry i can't help you further mate.
While I purfer the original if somone would import the fcs and decorations mod to bz I'd buy the steam version
There was at some point development for the decorations mod on BZ, looks like it unfortunately fell out...

With the latest update I had to remove quite a few of them, but I managede to get my save back, and therefore the mods too. Let me know if you still wish to have a list.

Its a good base but u can definitely find better mods on just subnautica like the FCS mods
That kind of mods is just too game-changing for my taste, but I honestly understand why some people really like that kind of mods.
How did you get a stalker as a pet
It is a mod that should be available on the Nexus Mods page for Subnautica BZ.

I thought it was a pretty entertaining game. It definitely had a much more cinematic approach. I have no problem with it personally, but it might bother some people... 🤷
@@cllsgnbingo7486 its definetly a stepup in cinematics but when you come from the first game its really dissapointing since the horror aspect of the series is not really there 🥲
@@unfunnyperson2101 I honestly just think it was a different game, more like a spin-off of some sort. It was really short.
It kinda felt like Quest for Booty in the Ratchet & Clank Future Trilogy: too short to be a game in itself, and too long to be like an interlude.
@@cllsgnbingo7486 agreed but i havent finished bz yet (got 80h on the first subnautica tho) but yea it feels like a very long dlc
@@cllsgnbingo7486 given below zero was meant to just be a dlc, I'm kinda disappointed it was made into a whole game given its size relative to the original. I think the main problem was the game engine being remade for BZ, but as a dlc we'd be able to have all the new base elements in the original and the ability to get vehicles from one game to another. Then mods could have creatures crossing over, such as ghost leviathans fighting the shrimps, or even entire player data transfering
