I've got a wagon in Zim. It's got a Jaeger instrument cluster (was a big deal back then) with an engine temp guauge. Then it's got a seperate Jaeger clock in the middle of the dash where that 504 badge is on the one in the vids. That thing is so quintessentially french. very smooth, you can dump the clutch and it still won't jerk lol, ridiculously long gears and it's a freaking boat. just irons out any bumps and you won't feel a thing lol

Awesome. The Jaeger cluster does look more premium and the car is just a beast

@@NairobiCarJourney-vd1ug yeah. And it surprises most people but the 504 is actually just as quick as all of the cheap, cars with tiny engines today. Mine will do its top speed of 160kph no sweat

504,the Legend of Africa roads. The car engine, chassis suspensions made for tougher roads. Good review , Thank you!

0:57 to 1:03 it looks like he took the statement from wikipedia. If he did, then I must say that the high ground clearance and large wheels were added by me. The other descriptions were already there.

All cars of that era had headlights made out of glass. And if one stuck to the load capacity there would be no chassis buckling issue.

It was actually better to have glass since it would refract the light better and wouldn't get that weird yellow film on plastic ones

The opener to this video was really fun. You had me laughing so hard because so many people that own these cars can appreciate that statement. I live in America and we had the Peugeot 504 for many years but they didn't sell very well. Next came the 505 which i really like in Turbo form and that sold better but not fantastic. I always loved Peugeots because they were different, not like anything else on the road, which really made them stand out. In Africa they are everywhere and this video was served up to me by the RUclips algorthrim because i am always watching Peugeot car videos. Great review of this vehicle.
