    This one is a winner. By NYC standards, this is one of the best places you've shown. No tiny closet bedrooms, full sized kitchen, living room space big enough for furniture. And I love how there is a FULL bath on the main level. Very, very nice!

    • @FrankiesFancy
      @FrankiesFancy 2 года назад

      No full baths...I did not see one bathtub. It's called a BATH room because you can take a BATH in a BATH tub. It's not called a "shower room". So it's not a full bath if there's no tub.

    • @FireCracker3240
      @FireCracker3240 2 года назад +37

      @@FrankiesFancyAbsolutely false. As someone in real estate, I can assure you it's known as a bathroom if there is a place to take a shower, regardless of whether it's a shower or bath tub. Just like a powder room with just a toilet and sink is sometimes called a half bath. You never go look at a property that has 3 bedrooms, 2 shower rooms. It's never described that way. That's just semantics and is downright silly.

      @@sandyrose2398 You still don't get it. Not sure where you're from tho, but only hillbillies would bathe in a plastic tub. But I know the difference between a full and a half bath. Sorry you can't grasp a fact. Maybe I should send you the 99 cents?

    This one's a real house for a family. Nicely done. Good space in the living room. Massive playroom/office/guest-room/gym/whatever-and-change downstairs, and reasonable bedrooms upstairs. Plus bathroom in the entry level AND in the upper level. You'd never find something this big with this price in Manhattan. At least, I don't think so.

    The neighborhood looks decent, and the building is apparently just a short walk to the train. The living room and kitchen are both quite large - though there's no sink sprayer. Two of the bedrooms and the closets are small. What to do with the huge basement space? Maybe a home business or a media room. The in-unit laundry and the large outdoor space are worth points even though the patio is accessed via a bedroom. This one isn't perfect, but it's better than some of the overpriced apartments we've seen.

Past Broadway Junction going north the service was done with both subway and wooden el trains. The el trains went to Downtown Brooklyn.

      you might be able to block them off with plants or something...some potted trees make good sound blocking material...you be surprised..

      I was thinking more about the construction site across the street. At least the a/c units are a steady, lulling sound. =D

    Very nice modern double-height loft with a background. I would definitely expand the second level to make it a bedroom. Otherwise, I would use a Murphy bed in the living area.

    I just don't get why people drink espresso. $5300pm, $63,600pa. Who could afford to live here? New York seems to be super expensive to live in. People must be very well paid. How does renting compare to buying?

    • @funguus
      @funguus 2 года назад +1

      I guess by renting, you can get room mates to help cover the cost (in this example); but for buying, your income needs to be at a certain level before any banks are willing to approve you the appropriate loan amount; plus your credit rating.

    Doesn't that Myrtle Avenue stop at 2:48 remind anyone of GTA 4? Near Roman's house? Im aware it takes place in New York but this immediately stuck out to me lol.

    Massive place for NYC. "reasonably priced" also for NYC. No, I'm not paying over $60k/year to rent...but someone will, and they will get their own castle...well rented castle.

      It’s a three bedroom, and if you split it three ways it’s less than $1800/month per person. For a place like this that’s a steal.

      @@ShnoogleMan I'll never get used to the "rents" of NYC or even Boston (where I grew up). I left Boston back in the 90's for warmer weather and less costs...don't regret it. But yeah, it's a great place.
