The XC90 trims are Momentum, R-Design, and Inscription in that order (lowest to highest). The ultra luxury Excellence trim was discontinued. The engine option lines are T5 (turbo only), T6 (turbo and supercharged), and T8 plug-in hybrid (w/turbo and supercharging) in that order (lowest to highest).

Would you recommend this as a large family vehicle?
I would - they are definitely an attractive, luxurious, and refined family vehicle that has great safety features. I would opt for warranty coverage if possible, as they have a supercharged AND turbocharged 4-cylinder in the T6 and T8 trims.
Yes we love it. We have a fully loaded 2016 90,000 miles with the extended warranty. T6 with polestar,roof rails, cargo cover. Like he said the interior does not feel cheap at all. Like having a car that not to much people are driving where we live at.
