I'm not sure which emulator you're using, but I use MAME for this. It might be useful for me to know exactly which emulator and version you're using. Your error appears to indicate that you are either using the wrong rom version for your version of MAME, or you didn't set the rom directory. MAME should tell you which files are missing so you can see if those files are in your zip or not. If you have the wrong rom, you can either try getting the same game from a different site (if the other site has a different file size) or try a different version of MAME.
