I own a 1970 Ford Torino 429 SCJ 4 speed drag-pack factory built wagon sleeper. Only one ever built by Ford. It does low 11's with drag radial tires and closed exhaust. It's 100% street legal also.

Please show us an LS running 7s, which this car will, at 3,500 lbs with OE block, crank and heads. Not sure why there’s so much hate, but have at it. This car has 15 passes on it and has been 8.50s.
@revanevan Many people run 5.3s and 6.0s even without gapping rings to run 7s in a 3300+ car / truck. Let's face it the "godzilla" is a truck motor for Ford f350 box trucks..ya the LS guys did the same things with the 6.0s but even in stock form the zilla eats lifters. Atleast a 6.0 Ls truck motor with a 75mm turbo stock untouched block can get to the 7s on a stock ecu...check out sloppy mechanics...many people in that group have gone 7.99s on stock motors....7.99s is 7s right?

Good build Kevin, we''ll have our godzilla powered fox body out in a few months.
Always liked these wagons. The old man had a 1981 Mercury Zephyr. Told him if he got rid of let me know.... he didn't..... 😂.
I got a clean 4 cylinder, manual rack, 4 speed Fairmont wagon that could be had!

I need to rewatch this and take notes! Great setup.

Congratulations Evan!! Great content!
Wow, what a fun car. Street and strip. Kevin put a lot of imagination and engineering into this great ride! Thanks Evan!

I'm considering a Godzilla setup in some 87-88 Thunderbird Turbocoupes. Can I get enough air to the radiator with that style grill?
With the parasitic loss of the drivetrain, that engine should be producing well past 1200 horsepower. Is that correct, Evan?
With 1,151 at the wheels it's well past 1,200 at the crank.
