Thanks for the Video! Sorry for chiming in, I would love your initial thoughts. Have you considered - Rozardner Inspiring Chord Reality (Have a quick look on google cant remember the place now)? It is an awesome one off product for how to play guitar scales without the hard work. Ive heard some super things about it and my work buddy at very last got astronomical success with it.

Kudos for the Video clip! Forgive me for the intrusion, I would appreciate your opinion. Have you tried - Rozardner Inspiring Chord Reality (Sure I saw it on Google)? It is a great one off guide for how to play guitar scales without the hard work. Ive heard some great things about it and my BF after a lifetime of fighting got excellent success with it.

thanks for doing these. they're so well put together, well edited, the sound mix is spot on, the tab super is not overwhelming, and your pace is perfect for following along. all of your lessons that I've watched so far have been extremely helpful. as someone who's relearning how to play from the ground up, I have truly appreciated all of the effort and time that goes into making these. they're perfect for me to watch and re-watch as I try and relearn how to play. thanks to you and your team for keeping them consistent, well organized, and free. I'll be a better player because of your efforts.

This is helpful, thank you. I consider myself "intermediate" in terms of technique, but I still don't have my Pentatonic shapes down!
I can play lots of stuff, I understand the CAGED shapes & how 6 relate to each other... and I'm learning to improvise basically by lots of playing, I learn where to find the notes I want.
But I could play faster when I improvise if I knew these shapes, lol.
This has helped me greatly in terms of understanding how the pentatonic shapes relate, and fit together. Also I just (finally) understood the relative Major & minor thing.
    Now it makes more sense.

So is there also five shapes for the other pentatonic scales? Like I thought there's E ,A and what else? I'm a bit confused on training myself..so there's five shapes and chords that go with the shapes right ? What about the others? Is there A-G pentatonics? And five for each one, the same as G pentatonic?? I hope my questions make sense. Thank You so much. I have full plate to work on now. Very Quality teaching. I drew it all out

  • @gregv.8564

I've been all over the place trying to grasp and truly understand all the basic scales etc, I learned through Brett Papa's lesson about how to actually use scales and chords and how they are connected but then through Joe Satriani I got to know more about how flexible it can be, however, I knew it all must connect in some way and I was struggling hard to grasp how all scales shapes fit into one another and I was searching for which shape is 1 and 2 etc. so my brain can name these shapes with numbers and can like "cast them at will" onto the fretboard, however after searching for names of these scales things were conflicting - and I stumbled upon your video and VOILA!! you explain so very well how even minor and mayor differ!! I always thought the difference is in shapes but it is actually in accentuation of the specific notes within the same shape - this is amazing!! at the very end you show what you can do once you have all these down and connected and I just replicated what you did and it is absolute freedom of what you can play once you understand the scales and shapes - just knowing songs note for note doesn't cut it, however, it can teach you a lot about what a certain artist used regarding technique. Thank you very much for these lessons!! Marvellous !

Hi, I paid to Stitch Methods channel a couple bucks and was sent the 5 forms of the pentatonic scales.
Form #1 shows- Low E=1,4/A=1,3/D=1,3/G=1,3/B=1,4/E=1,4. Do teachers use the same forms and call them different form numbers? He typed a sentence at the bottom of the 5 forms that read, They all Click together, Go slow and make sure you can see how they all stack together. Thanks for your lesson.
