    It’s very good. Can you please do a warmup or
    Exercise for pop flip?

    • @CamillevanNiekerkMusic
      @CamillevanNiekerkMusic  3 года назад +1

      Good idea! For the time being, you can start on any comfortable chest voice pitch (like C4) and then "flip" to a higher pitch (like C5). You can then shorten the range and flip from C4 to G4. If that works well, walk up the keyboard one pitch at a time with that same pattern (see video description for a virtual keyboard + tuner).

      Thank you, Mike! That's a great idea. Best advice I've got for keeping the voice "in shape" is using semi-occluded exercises, especially straw phonation! The Singing Straw here on RUclips has tons of straw warmups.

      Thank you, Lakshita! You don't need to know music theory in order to sing, but it certainly doesn't hurt! I like www.musictheory.net/ for free lessons on theory and sight reading. There are also apps that can teach you!

    Is there anyway to know my vocal range without a piano

    • @CamillevanNiekerkMusic

      You can use a chromatic tuner like tuner.ninja - sing down to your lowest pitch (write it down), then your highest, and that's your overall comfortable range!
