I’m afraid you’re mistaken… “sous le siege” means under the seat. This would surely go in the overhead locker. You’re looking for the other side of that device for the overhead cage. Edit: I see it also says it in English

I really don't understand why people don't measure their luggage before fhey fly. Its really not that difficult
They need to design a case where the wheels unscrew. They won't do this because wheels failing is the main reason for people replacing their luggage.
TakeOff Luggage actually sells carry on size luggage with removable wheels. Calpak also sells underseat luggage too (it’s called the mini hue).

This is 47cm with wheels, 36cm and 20cm. I removed the wheels and it fits perfect.

Just check with what airline you’re travelling with, they will tell you what size baggage that you can use

I used this one as under the seat! I tried it on front of the check in desk so they let me take it.

would rather fly with scheduled airline than budget airline, cos of the luggage stress.
EJ is probably the best of the best in budget airlines. Not much stress other than this, food is very affordable and decent legroom is available.
