I wonder if the controller is a prelude to up and coming or planned larger enterprise drones. It’s definitely intended for pro use, and I would invest in a good harness rather than strap! Great interface and that screen size and nits, ideal for long missions in sunny conditions. I’m liking this drone and controller combo, be good to know your long term opinion using the controller.
We have the 4N and have been having a few problems. several times The controller has a ZOOM setting and the wide setting is gone. The only two camera options are ZOOM and IR. I bring the drone back down and reboot everything. when it comes back up the cameral settings are back to normal I now have WIDE IR and NIGHT. this has happened several times. you have great videos and would love to see the pinpoint and follow function. I cant seem to make them work. Also where does the screen shot and screen recordings go? Cant find them after recording has ended Thanks again for the videos
Great video! Are you aware of any issues with connecting the remote OR aircraft directly to a PC for downloading of data? I’m wondering if you need a driver because my PC does not allow or recognize my PC when connected directly.
Just got this drone yesterday. Updated all firmware for controller and aircraft. I am having a few issues with the controls at times. Example : While drone is hovering, if I press right joystick left, it moves left just fine, at a good speed. If I press right, it moves right, but at an incredibly slow speed. Doesn’t do this all the time, but intermittently. Any ideas?
Can you not return to where you purchased and ask for advice? We try and support our customers after purchase. I would imagine this is to do with the vision system and possible objects but it could be a number of things.
Hello, I haven't flown my Max 4T yet, but I have flown my Evo 2 640T, which had the exact same problem you mentioned. I reset the drone to its factory settings, and I haven't had that same issue again. Hope that helps. Happy flying!
How do you adjust the brightness of the camera with out messing with the brightness of the controller? I'm seeing that if I turn the brightness of the screen up so I can see it in bright sun light, it destroys the image that the camera is seeing. That is a game changer. There must be a way.
The king of the hill drone would be one with a thermal lens, star light camera and a very good camera lens for video or stills. Now that would sell. At least for my needs.

Hello, thanks for comment. Sadly this is an enterprise range controller so compatible with evo ii v3 and evo max 4 range. I don’t believe Autel has a consumer range smart controller compatible with the Lite. Happy flying
I'm curious to know if this drone comes with remote id and if the controller give you the option to turn it on and off like other hi end drones I've seen.
We aren’t sure, remote ID isn’t something happening in the UK at the moment so we aren’t best to ask. We don’t believe it has it but unsure as stated. Thanks
We had a demo model to try out on this one so I was an early release. If you watch our DJI m30t review video, the model in that is also an early prerelease model.

The drone is not working as the manufacturer declared. You can’t fly MSL waypoints! The drone even while standing on the ground present change of few meters(!) on the msl hight
I sure like this 4T and features, but for the cost, I would like a camera that will do better video from what I am hearing. What camera settings can be set on it. ISO ect.
@@baronlund9725 - Settings can be hard to find but you should have access to a manual? We are a small retailer in scotland and cannot solve the brands problems. They should have tutorials for all this. We do this free of charge
@@edinburghdronecompany Thanks for a reply and I have been picking though every video I could find and also downloaded the manuals for the bird. As you said, it's in the manual but how to find it. I finally found my answer by accident picking through the setting on the controller and I see I can adjust both brightness by them self but do affect each a little. Next is to get the crazy fast yaw movement down in Expo but it's not doing much to tame it.

On the 4T, Can I change the metric to Imperial like the dji can and also is the gimbal adjustable beyond their presets?
I found what I needed to figure out. Great video and I've replayed it many times to find the item I was trying to find or change..
You didn't mention the ISP rating of the controller ? I'll assume none as it has open vents on the top of the controller.

it is not infrared. it is a thermal camera. infraread needs a infraread light.

No, internet is useful for live maps on the controller screen and improves experience but is not required.
This drone can fly without GPS as well

Not that we are aware of… it’s not designed for film/ movie shoots

You should also tell the viewer that at 100% brightness, your video will be blowen out in the high lights as there tied together.
I stand corrected. After hunting for days, I found where I can somewhat adjust each.
