So if hawk is 2019 champ, that means the s4 finalie took place late spring/early summer of 2019 then s5 prob took place over summer 2019. Which means on the cobra kai timeline, covid hasnt happened yet! Imagine if at the end of the sekai tekai tourney they get stranded in korea or wherever because of the outbreak and travel restriction and thats how the show ends!
