I'm so excited for you to see my latest video. "Create your OWN photo style" ruclips.net/video/I0HQo4XipQM/видео.html I put so many hours into these edits where I share photography, but the final result is just so great, it makes it all worth it. please take a moment to watch that one next. Comment below if you like this type of content! I'll respond to every single comment!
I’ve learned so much in the 50 and 85 lens diary by getting to see what and how you see subjects and composition. Would love to see more. Thank you for making these!
By the way... Thanks for your commitment to actually doing and focusing on Street Photography and not just turning into a travel documentarian. So many good Street guys have started so, well, Street and have ended up doing really good travel documentaries. Good luck staying the course! It'll be difficult, I would imagine
indeed rob. not everyone can be @alan_schaller making a living from "taking" pictures is difficult. concept and execution is the way forward for shooters. ideas and executions move the needle forward. everyone with an iphone "takes" pictures.
My god. I absolutely adore your black and white images. I try and get up to Edinburgh and take as many photos from the Old Town as it has buckets of character. I force myself to use my 50 as much as possible. Thank you for this film.
This is a masterclass in black and white photography. I like your style and presentation and your photographs are an exhibition room full in one video!
thanks much for watching Iain.. I appreciate you taking the time to do so and comment. I know my live streams are at a hard time for some. I'm contemplating doing an evening stream from time to time.
@@stevecarty You're welcome Steve. Just about the timing, you're about 5 hours behind us here in the uk, so I will try and catch you when you're doing one in the daytime. Keep shooting.
Hugo thanks so much for your comment. you made my day. thanks for watching.. make sure you check my "a life behind the camera" blog ... link in about section!
You often coach people nit to use the wide apertures of fast lenses. I would love for you to do a video about when to use them (other than in low light).
Cool. A common comment made by many RUclipsrs is re the use of zooms and it leading to laziness. But so often those same RUclipsrs obviously crop in with their primes. Kinda makes the laziness argument kinda moot. Instead of cropping with a zoom they simply crop in post. While I do greatly enjoy primes, I'm also just as quick to use a zoom. Not sure my feet react too differently to either. Just a thought. However it does absolutely affect what I choose to shoot

Glad to hear that! 50mm still my fav.

@@stevecarty Will do!!
Hi, Steve.
I have a 25mm Summilux 1.4 lens 50 mm ff) and I love it.
Now I go out with only the 50mm and 90 mm.
Prime lenses are my favorite
Antoine..
Thanks for sharing! I need a 24. I have a 16! Watch the rest from this series.
Thanks!🙏🏻
You're welcome!
I prefer these shots to your 85mm vid. Don’t know if it is the light but These seem to have more life in them. ✌️
The biggest issue I have preventing street photography is feeling uncomfortable shooting people while trying to not look like a creep. Lol
I think most of us feel that way okaygo. You just have to face that fear and show up.
This was so entertaining I could watch these all day
This is amazing I love shooting photos out side
It’s crazy you took a bike line shot.. I have one of those somewhere nice!!!
Theses videos are so addictive woww

going to do some content on wide aperture and why and why not.
I like your street photo. What kind of lens would you like if you chose between 50 and 85?
Both.

Did you crop in post?
Most of this is pretty full frame
