    Thank you Sally, this is so helpful. We love our amphora. It makes a huge difference to the taste of our water and no more plastic from filters or bottles ❤️

    This is very helpful information, especially living in a hard water area, to know that even after cleaning if there is still lime scale residue, that's not a problem.

    The water here in the US has Fluoride and other things in it. Would it be best to use spring water to clean?

      You caan just use normal water to clean the outside of the amphora (the inside never needs cleaning). Then give it a sun bath to completely refresh it.

    Hi Sally, roughly how often do you think amphorae should be cleansed? Mine is in daily use, but in a soft water area with zero limescale residue.

      I would ty to clean it every month or every few months? It sound like it would depend on the environmental conditionss inside your house? Dust levels, electrical fields, aair quality etc. I think if it enters into your mond to do it, then do it!

      @@NaturalSpaSupplies Hi Sally, thanks for your attempted answer. I suppose I shall have to work it out myself, but it seems to get slippery/slimy on the outside at about 10-14 days. I'm not bothered by that as it is obviously natural and perhaps a result of the good micro-biome living on the damp clay surface, but possibly good to erase it now and then. However I wouldn't go around mentioning magnetic fields affecting the thing, bit of a joke lol!! Humans maybe, but clay urns? Anyhow thanks and good luck with your amazing product, I absolutely love it.

    Will Castile soap work to cleaning clay pots?

    • @NaturalSpaSupplies
      @NaturalSpaSupplies  3 года назад

      No, Castille soap is made from oil and lye and it will block the pores, reducing the effectiveness of the amphora. You will need to use a water based soap - we use soapnuts, a dried tree fruit, which when placed in water, gives a water based detergant.
