i loveeee your videos but just a little bit of a note, it would make the videos a lot prettier if you add like a b-roll shot of how the final product looks from a far or how it looks worn before starting the tutorial instead of immediately jumping into it❤ sometimes i really want to see how it looks so i can decide colors or the designs i want to make for myself 🥲
I made the leg warmers for my bff. She chose a lavender yarn with greenish glitter strands, called big twist twinkle in "light purple" from joanns. I used the recommended hook size, did 43 foundation chains for the length and when done including the borders and scalloped edge it was 11.5 inches long. I consider myself a beginner but have done probably 10 crochet beginner projects, and I had an easy time for this one. the key is to not drop the stitch on the ends! you have to do the stitch into what seems like the chain 1 from the previous row, and it worked great! Only thing is my scalloped edges may be a little tight, they're puffy/dont lay flat and with wear and time i predict they will probably puff more. But maybe blocking with water would prevent that. Excellent tutorial seriously 11/10 instructions!

I used 1 and a half skein for mine! I recommend having at least 2 skeins (mine had 200 grams each) because sewing can take up some yarn too💗
