@@guitarplayer2846 I know I'm over a year late, but I find it amusing that there is no cut there, that's the complete July 27th middle section, no cuts. There are bootlegs online. Instead, the actual blatant edit happens at 0:18 when the vocals come in - switching from the july 29th gig to the 27th. And also obviously the drum intro was cut because there is no Heartbreaker in the old album.
Less obvious, but a "Hangman!" was also cut just before the Boogie part.
When the edits are done cleanly and respecting the bars, I don't mind. Now, the 2007 remix and subsequent remaster really piss me off though...

Yes I don't know why they chopped up the re-releases. There's so much incredible stuff they edited out on a bunch of the songs. They edited just about every song and not for the better. And even removed the part before the song remains the same when Robert says Good Evening !! In between last time we came and this time we managed to get an album out called Houses of the Holy , why they removed all that awesome stuff I don't know. It's completely different, every song is different they even removed parts of Moby Dick that were Bonzo at his best. The original 1976 release is by far superior.

I remember when I got this for my 10th birthday in January, 1986 (a day after my 10th birthday on January 25) and I remember my dad buying me this as I was already on a Zeppelin quest as of July 1985 (seeing them on Live Aid made me a fan) and to my delight the double live album was spaced on two cassettes. Cassette one had Sides 1 and 3 and cassette two had Sides 2 and 4. I was surprised as I saw the movie on MTV a few months earlier and was surprised that Whole Lotta Love was longer on the album as was The Rain Song and Rock and Roll, No Quarter, Dazed and Confused and Moby Dick's solo were partially different on the album compared to the film. I have both the original 1976 remix and the 2007 remix (I enjoy the added tracks and the fact that The Rain Song was not edited on the album unlike the rest of the songs and also Heartbreaker and Dazed and Confused were in full but the edit on Whole Lotta Love was annoying but at least it was not like the Nick Davis remixes of the Genesis catalog nor the Jon Astley remixes of The Who catalog nor the Justin Shirley Smith/Joshua Macree remixes of the live Queen shows which compressed everything).

Yes, this is the best version taken from the original album. This one has the Crunge part. Not sure why other vids of this song here on RUclips have deleted that part.

Couldn't agree more!!!!!! All Page needed to do is add the songs that weren't on the original and remaster the whole thing. Instead, he gutted the album and ruined it. Worse sin for me on the album was taking the best 2 minutes of No Quarter out and throwing it in the trash.
