If they were to release all the shows like how they presented Pontiac 2003 on the Silverdome DVD, I'd be fine with that. The live commentary and raw audio is just as fun to watch and listen to as the fully edited TV Monster Jam episodes. It'd also be quite easy to follow with what was going on if it was edited in such a way
That’s the one thing I really dislike about FELD. They just keep sitting on loads of footage that they refuse to monetize, and their choice of networks to air new episodes on is just awful (CNBC really? Who watches that channel? Just put it on Peacock with Supercross and Nitro Rallycross). I would purchase the 2003 season in an instant and remasters of old episodes I’ve already watched.
Now this an episode I can't wait for!
Same!!
*forbidden footage*
For🅱️idden footage
Ye lol
Yep
@@monsterjamin24-79 wow, it's been a while

Its an absolute blasphemy, to think that absolutely no one, not a single soul at the show thought, "hey, maybe we should record this all and perhaps release it on VHS (because DVD wasnt that big yet) edit it properly, and release it if we cant televise it!"
Its also insane that not even Monster Jam themselves have not released these unedited, raw footage with live commentary shows, it would actually be more immersive that way if you ask me.
Fun Fact: West Lebanon 2003 is the only televised speedway event.
*The only post-2000 Monster JAM event: Louisville Motor Speedway in the 90's and several independent shows on ESPN (just to name a few)
Atlanta Motor Speedway?
@@donnaasbury I forgot about that lol

Completely coincidentally I found a copy of crash madness 3 at a flea market recently. After seeing this video I feel awesome about owning a small chunk of the 2003 season officially
How much did you pay for it?
During the pandemic, I was hoping they would air raw footage on NBC due to the lack of 2020 events. Then when the MAVtv deal started and they showed 2018 episodes I got my hopes up again, albeit for old Monster Jam shows in general. They should make a dvd with the season on it if they don't intend to show it otherwise or some kind of release. It'd probably sell great and I'm sure even new fans would enjoy watching older Monster Jam shows.
I hope the 2003 season airs someday, but it would take a miracle for all the footage to be made public.
Why Speed never picked up the missing season, went back and cleaned up the footage, and released it as filler between the 2003 World Finals and 2004 TV season opener baffles me. I know CCE were focusing on landing a TV deal for the World Finals, but if they had spent the rest of the year shopping for a TV deal, you would think they would have tried to get the old shows released somehow. I know these days Feld Entertainment would not have stood for that; the CCE years were something else behind the scenes. Great video on this topic
I love deep dive style content on the history of monster jam! Great video man!
It’s a shame that all monster jam footage from the 2000’s and 2010’s have been scrubbed from RUclips.
Right
It's on Monster Jam Network now
@@bigyodatheman Prior to Monster Jam Network, people uploaded full shows (not clips) going back all the way to 1980’s. But those have either been scrubbed or made extremely difficult to find now.
@@cali115 Yeah, I know. All of the non Monster Jam Network shows are still up pre 99
Oh, is that what killed off DiggerFanJSB's channel for a while?
If anyone's watching this still, I found lots of fan footage and clips of Tampa 2003 and back draft at Rhode Island 2003!
7:23 Hey man thanks for showing my profile. I really love your videos.
This was a good video. Detroit Loves you guys!!! Happy holidays!!! G
Lets be honest, someone is going to dig up as much fan footage as they can
Yeah I know MJFAN has found a good chunk of 2003 fan footage
@@silentlyy. Neat
Not that much from that far back.
@@bigyodatheman Fair but you never know
@@AlanNadeauIII Digital cameras were barely a thing then, smart phones still 4 years away, and Monster Jam was a lot stricter on teams recording shows back then.
I hope that one day in the future, someone manages to leak a bunch of unseen monster jam footage on the internet. It would be just like the Nintendo giga leak in 2020
I was born in 2003 as well
2003 sure did suck ass when Monster Jam left TNN, I tuned in to the Ol' Trucks & Tractor Power and the dying days of USA Motorsports' television.
I miss Motor Madness on TNN

What year was that Tampa show with el toro loco and stone crusher?
2008
what is the black truck with pink leters name
If you're referring to the monster truck at 6:00, its name was Demolition Man. It was driven by Bobby Zee for the Wall of Steel stunts before Kathy Winston debuted it in competition at the Pontiac Silverdome while her main truck, SoBe, was being transported to the World Finals. Frank Krmel would take over the wheel of the Demolition Man in 2004 until it was acquired by the Power Forward team and renamed accordingly.
i wouldn’t mind seeing some 03 shows, also i was born in 2000 dude, we age like fine whine just like this sport lol
