Warren, this was a in-depth teaching. Let me just pull back the curtain ... The Re harmonization, chord voicing and chord-substitution really creates a beautiful masterpiece. And the turn around at the end is quite musically creative. Gives me something to work on. Thank you for sharing your god-given talent with the world. We really do appreciate you.
Awesome video as usual Warren Sir. If you are trying to learn gospel music, theory, or whatever, this channel is a must! Bless you man and your channel will only continue to grow. Thanks man and God bless.
Hi bro , As usual was waiting eagerly for your tutorial . This morning I was driving my bike with earphones in my ear . I did not see this video and was just listening to it . Oh my god what an impact it had in my spirit while I was just listening . I could feel the bubbling in my heart and overwhelming with joy when you use those chords . God bless you bro and you are and will be a blessing of many thousands . And this is one of my favourite song too . Thank you once again from the bottom of my heart . Keep going ...😁
John Angel what’s that song again? I don’t remember the names of everyone on the channel. Also it’s important to know I have a laundry list of already requested songs, you’ll have to wait a bit.
Thanks for your time to post this impactful video to us !!! May God bless you I would like to ask you to bring back ear training video referring to the intervals hearing especially on perfect 4 or perfect fifth because i find out difficult to distinguish them (i watched the video you posted about it : hearing what you hear ) and i can imitate the sound when asked to tell how perfect 4 sound but in a contextual or in a song structure i cannot figure it out Please help as you always good and responsive to me
Know where to put is actually not difficult. Here are some ideas: 1. When the singer/congregation singing a long note 2. At the end of the song 3. The end of a verse or chorus 4. When there no singing happening
I have 3 requests for future lessons and one question: Requests: • Can you please break down Amazing Grace? • Please explain the super-fast runs up and down the piano that you do and the context of where you apply them (over which chords). • Please teach more on advanced rhythm. I did enjoy the one rhythm lesson I saw you posted. One of my piano teachers said that for advanced rhythm, I have to treat the piano like a drum, but unfortunately, that was about all they could tell me about how to do it. Question: • I’ve been taught that the 1, 4 and 5 chords are the root of most songs. But learning that has put my understanding in a box. I’m not sure about the functionality of the others: minor 2nd, minor 3rd, minor 6th, and diminished 7th. Are these just filler chords? Does that mean that the 1, 4, and 5 are the main chords of the song and everything thing else are just passing chords to get to the 1, 4, and 5?
Statesman63 to understand more about chord progressions you need to be learning songs on the regular, at least 2 songs a week. This is when you’ll begin to the patterns. Song use a lot more than just 1-4-5 progression
Think of it this way m; 1. Major Scales - and the 7 modes derived from the major scale 2. Minor scales - and their 7 derived modes 3. Blues Scale 5. Pentatonic scale. If you think of it this way then all of a sudden it feel simpler. It gets crazy hard when you think of each scale isolated by it self. Most of these scales are just derivatives of either the major scale or the minor scales, so practice to see them this way.
Hi Warren. I was going through all of your lessons from the beginning and I noticed that lesson number 31 is missing. Don't know if you deliberately took that one down. And one more question: I am considering purchasing a new digital keyboard/piano. I am looking at a GHS Weighted Keys by Yamaha where the lower keys are heavier and the upper keys are lighter, like an acoustic piano. Do you have any other suggestions in considering which keyboard/piano to purchase? Thanks!
That's a very good question, my friend. This system was developed hundreds of years ago with early music theory and instrument tuning. If you want to dive deeper into this topic, check out this post. en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Enharmonic
That’s wonderful man. I’d highly suggest you join my program. You don’t want to waste time trying to figure out what to work on and how to work On it. Using the number of the cord in the key makes it easy to transpose. F #. Great! Everything # except B. Turn arounds... 👍. We have long winded people who decide to talk, pray, testify in the middle of the song. These cords could be used for that too.

I actually have a full course coming out in this soon 😊👍🏽🙏🏾
Could you do a video about choosing where to put glissandos or arpeggios?
Know where to put is actually not difficult. Here are some ideas:
1. When the singer/congregation singing a long note
2. At the end of the song
3. The end of a verse or chorus
4. When there no singing happening

HELLO SIR why cant l download the midi and pls can you do tis so sweet in advance level.....More anointing
Please do some on worship talk music on fsharp.. I love your lessons.
Excellent, how many scales do u know?
Think of it this way m;
1. Major Scales - and the 7 modes derived from the major scale
2. Minor scales - and their 7 derived modes
3. Blues Scale
5. Pentatonic scale.

Hi Warren. On Midiculous website it says the free version only plays LMS/LMW files. is that still ok?
Yes, I make the LMS file available in the download as well, which is even better as its midi and audio combine
Thanks soooo much for doing fsharp..hoyeee
Please do a tutorial on the key of G

I am looking at a GHS Weighted Keys by Yamaha where the lower keys are heavier and the upper keys are lighter, like an acoustic piano. I think that one is fine. The keyboard used in all my tutorials is the Yamaha DGX-650
Here's tutorial #31 ruclips.net/video/KIC4yHDKOYs/видео.html
Are your lessons still active?
Not sure I understand this question
Which scale are u running on that flat 7 chord E9😶
What section of the video?
Scale @ 11:34
Biggie Chiremba its E Lydian scale
Newbie question. F# is also G flat. If all the keys are the same, what makes you call it either key you're playing in?
That's a very good question, my friend. This system was developed hundreds of years ago with early music theory and instrument tuning. If you want to dive deeper into this topic, check out this post. en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Enharmonic
