Hey mate, no idea how your videos popped into my algorithm but I went through your stuff and I must say I absolutely love your content, especially your “Famous drummers” lessons. Straight to the point and no BS.
I have two video/idea suggestions:
1. How to improve your hand control / push-pull / rebound (unless you’ve already got one covering that?), especially when it comes to double strokes
2. Perhaps a new addition to your famous drummers playlist: Richard Spaven 🙏🙏🙏
Thanks for checking my stuff out, bro! Richard Spaven is epic. Such a unique style
Ohh Mr Brett you are the best drum teacher bro, and i like how you start demonstrating very basic fundamentals and gradually build the tempo up in beat and orchestration. Thank you so much this very helpful. Please make some more on those subdivisions as well🙏🙏🙏
Thanks so much, dude!
Very nice. Love these breakdowns & patterns for rudiment use
Thanks!
Another great video. If you made a tier list for rudiments, these three would be S tier. But flams would have to be A tier, I think
I like the way you break down those two rudiments. THE TWO 😎✌🏻Ain’t got time for the 40. Just want to play what I enjoy very very well. You certainly got those two rudiments cooking! Your video and playing is highly inspiring to me wow!
For me the essential rudiments list is same as yours but includes multiple bounce roll because it’s our only legato note and it’s way cool. 👌🏻
Keep on rollin’!
Your comments are always so nice dude. Thanks so much for supporting the channel! :)
Unreal man,another great video,Thank you very much.🙏😎
Thanks for watching!
great video
thank you :)
Waou !!
Nice ❤. I have orchestration issues. Yours is perfect
Thanks! You just gotta keep throwing ideas out until some of them stick.
Please mention Steve Gadd at 3:52. It's important to not let drumming culture and history disappear. That's Gadd's beat that he famously made up. You did add one note, a hi-hat, on beat one of course.
