We bought this bouncer for our baby. It was the BEST purchase we’ve by far. The insert is such great quality and definitely sets it apart from other bouncers on the market. Highly recommend.
Hooray!👏 I was so set on the baby bjorn until a mom I was buying something from her off fb marketplace from had used both and recommended the ergobaby cuz of the infant insert. I was still on the fence though. For how much you have loved the baby bjorn and how I can see you are so excited about the ergobaby one I am going to leave the ergobaby bouncer on my baby registry! Thanks for helping me decide!🥰
@@confidentlymomThank you! Yeah, we won’t be taking it to the beach in Alaska.😆 No problem with that here. I bought it on black Friday for 20% off. Baby will be here in February! Thank you!
I don't think so but maybe( Wouldn't be for a few months though). Read through the comments i left below - and i did do a babybjorn review. I think my main notes on the differences are in the comments to people below though!
@@confidentlymom thank you I just watched your must haves and babybjorn video. That was actually quite helpful…I ended up ordering the Ergobaby so thank you for the help🤗
So I can only base it off with toddlers... my daughter had a harder time as a toddler bounce in the baby bjorn than she does in the Ergobaby. Her feet touched the floor in both, so it slowed it down. My sons feet dont touch the floor, but he's not a newborn anymore and can really "kick" and the bounce is the same at his size, with the Ergobaby being a bit bouncier IMO
Hi! I noticed the company has a first responders and teacher discount as well. Do you know if the company will let buyers use both that and the coupon code you’ve given at the same time for an even better discount?
I’m deciding between this and the Bjorn. I have a very.. curious (sometimes naughty) 3 year old as well as my newborn. Between the two options, which do you think is more child-proofed in the back? I’m worried my 3 year old would try to change the position while my baby is in it!
So the babybjorn would be basically impossible I think for a 3 year old to change the height setting - it's even hard for me (maybe because ours is more salt/sand locked lol). But the frame itself feels less sturdy (that's not to say it isn't sturdy, because it 100% is, just by comparison, maybe just because the frame itself weighs less?) like if your 3 year old climbed in with baby it wouldn't be able to handle it as well as the Ergo. That's just a guess. I do think the buckles on the Bjorn are more childproof though. The Ergobaby would require a lot of skill for a 3 year old to do alone I think. It has a safety lock, so that would have to be undone, then the two levers would have to be pressed simultaneously. I honestly can't see a 3 year old being able to do either of these height adjustments alone, but you know your kids best!
Do you feel like the ergo bounces as easily as the bjorn? Also, I saw you take the bjorn to the beach… have you taken the ergo to the beach? I’m so torn right now.
it never did for us! I show it's adjustment in the babybjorn video where you see the wide teeth on the move so i think it would take a verrrryyy long time ot mess it up - salt of the sea would probably mess it up before sand; but it never got rusted for us over the years! I did always find the adjustment kind of "tight"/tricky though and ours was used for 1-2 kids before handed down to us
It's the same style frame as the babybjorn so I think the third party one i suggested there would work for this one too. But because it's newer I haven't seen anyone officially do it, like I came across in my research for the Babybjorn.
I have not, just because my kids wouldn't sit in it at this age. But I can tell you the Babybjorn would probably beat this at the beach for 2 reasons: It's lighter weight (though this isn't a huge deal because both can be carried one handed and it's not a massive difference); But the rubberized bottom of the Ergobaby will 100% hold/cling sand more and make it not as durable IMO as the babybjorn. Ill probably save my babybjorn specifically for beach trips if we had a third for that reason. But as far as stability, they're about the same and I have no concerns about how the Ergobaby would do in terms of solidness in the uneven sand.
Hey! See my other responses to comments. It would / does work outside and in sand. But because of the rubber grips I think it’ll retain more sand than the babybjorn.
I'm glad I seen this video before I went out and bought one cuz it looks boring and I know the baby will be boring too in it. My baby is 3 months old going on 4 months old and he would not be happy about this. Be crying and everything
I might become a RUclipsr myself because you can't talk about every little thing and try to act like it's a good thing. Just cuz you get a cut out of it. I'll be like it's cute. It's inexpensive but it doesn't have a lot of things so the baby might be bored. I might not get no cut
It's literally not - but thanks for the suggestion of another bouncer to check out, I'd never heard of it. EDIT: So I just looked into the Cybex, can you share what is better exactly? Because it requires assembly, doesn't fold flat, the clasp is significantly more time consuming/challenging based on the design and a bunch of reviews I saw... The seats and material look comparable unless I'm missing something? Both breathable, both that same hug shape. But I'm not seeing what you're saying and neither are the Google and Amazon reviews...?
I have both. Cybex screams quality and can be mount to the lemo chair. Ergobaby feels very cheap and the seat is very poor compared to Cybex. Cybex Bouncer is more enjoyable for the baby.Only downside is only the portability...@@confidentlymom

Will you still be doing the in depth comparison of this vs the babybjorn? I’m having a difficult time finding any comparisons even on google.

Do you think the movement is as responsive as the babybjorn? Trying to decide which to get before the discount goes away!

My guess is yes, but I'm not positive. Try it tomorrow and let me know!
Wow so glad i waited until now to buy my bubba a bouncer, found the perfect one for us! Thanks for this review ♡

@@confidentlymom thank you so much for this awesome reply! I think I’m leaning towards the Ergo..
Get the Cybex bouncer.It's better

Never mind! Seeing you answered both of these 😂 thanks for the review. Super helpful!
@@tayloryoung9854 Of course! Lmk if any other Q's come up!
Does this bouncer or the baby bjorn have a longer seat, to best accommodate taller babies?
No, they both accommodate through toddlerhood so I’ve never heard of anyone needing a longer seat for tall babies 🤷🏻♀️ sorry!
Oh wait I just reread that. I dk which is longer! But I’d check manufacturer website for height limit and see which is longer - sorry!
you said you like to take the bjorn to the beach… would the sand ruin this one’s adjustment mechanism?
it never did for us! Free that baby!
Would this work ok outside? Or on sand, set up at the beach?

It looks so comfortable for them. Love how long it lasts too through many growth stages. Super helpful, thank you!
