I had one almost exactly like this but a bit simpler I think, no mouse, but same colours. Crazy nostalgia hearing those sounds again!

I think this is the exact same version I had around 1997. It was so cool!! I remember the character was an anthropomorphic puppy dog and the computer would play songs like "When Johnny Comes Marching Home." So cool. I miss it!!

Memories are coming back man. I remember when I had this exact one but also a blue & red one aswell. I would love to have one again, just for the memories.
I was watching a Vinny (Vinesauce) stream of old commercials and saw a commercial for a similar educational computer system. It immediately brought back memories of the old educational "laptop" I had as a kid so I started googling to find it. This might be one of the only videos on youtube featuring this exact laptop that I used to have.
I had one ALMOST like this, but it didn't have a mouse! It was for sure Vtech though, and the outside shell looked very similar.
I had one almost like this with out the mouse.
The main thing I remember was playing tic tac toe over and over and it saying
“My turn.” “Your turn.” And it was getting on my family’s nerves.
Just found the one I bought for my kids who are now 28 yo. They were 90s kids and not sure when I bought it for them. It still works! Trying to decide if I should keep or donate.

Nice I had one similar to yours and had that same female voice. Mine was red and blue and I'm almost sure it was vtech
I had this one too so amazing. Anyone remember a trivia game back in the 2000s one of the categories was grab bag it was like the bop it game but idk
I'm not sure if I had this EXACT one, but it might be. I don't remember it having a mouse, but I definitely remember the shape and these same colors, along with that dog.
I cannot find the Vtech laptop that had the greenish blue screen that lights up. It used to have a trivia game and when you got something right it said easy come easy go. It also had this game where you could have a cat and if you fed the cat too much it would scratch you.

I had one very similar to this, but teal instead of navy, same basic case design and everything though. I think it maybe had a few more activities? I can see it having been like the version of this that came out the next year or something.
I can't remember when exactly I got it but I feel like it had to have been 1998-99ish.
ETA: what little info I can find suggests mine might have been called the Talking Whiz Kid Frontier. It seems to be a relatively rare model.
Did it have a greenish light up screen?
Was there any type of game where you take care of pets and if you messed with the cat too much it would scratch you lol?

My Talking Whiz Kid Plus has one. Pretty much the only reason I picked it up as it peeked my interest. Good condition for being 26 years old!

I one of these, my mum brought it for me late in the 90s this generation of laptop cam out in 1996 and was in stores till 97 was the next gen came out mine is in perfect condition I treated like a pet when I was a kid
I had a vtech as a child that was similar to this but it came with a series of cassette tapes. They featured a ladybug that narrated things along with the cassettes. I have difficulty finding it.

I had one but it was a Rabbit, and it had no mouse. I wish I could find it to give it to my little nephew, it really helped me with spelling and math
I remember that dog lol, this was my first laptop lmao.
So, my first laptop. Alright, it is the 2007 Hp Compaq NC4400. And thankfully I am reliable enough to have it with its pristine condition. I still love my laptop, and I'm still actively using it every day. Its condition is 9/10. The only reason why I still love it because the design is really simple, boxy looks and classic.
*i had a vtech talking scholar. I learned a lot from that thing to be honest*

I think a friend of my name my friend Tyrone Thompson had that laptop because he offered to give that one to me his old one and if it's the same one I definitely was going to take his offer on it because that's actually one that I would love to own especially if I'm working with kids
