"he is an *insult* to devils, posing as a monster with that *sickly* good heart." main reason I love Wyll to bits. he's so genuine. he's made mistakes but he's got a heart of gold and it's refreshing to see in a character.
All except Astarion. There's literally no option to say "I have the urge to kill" although you can tell everyone, even Minthara if you get her. It's REALLY weird.
@@screamingopossum7809 I've been really thinking over this and I think it's because when you first meet each other and your minds merge he already knows. It's why if you're the Dark Urge he's a lot nicer to you from the beginning instead of being just cold like he is with normal Tav. He also calls you his 'Stab happy friend'
It's super realistic when it comes to severe mental health issues. You try and tell people it's getting worse. No one takes it seriously enough. Then you're in crises and people act like they never could have known it was coming
@@screamingopossum7809 there are options of telling them about the urge, but then they think it's just thoughts you are struggling with. not their fault that Tav doesn't elaborate you're being *compelled,* not just having evil thoughts.
Well when you struck a deal with a devil, you've probably had them whisper these same dark thoughts. Difference is, for him its a temptation for you it is an active affliction that can completely take over your mind
He's just young and naive. I think they wanted to show that you can be a Warlock and still be a good man, because typically you hear 'Warlock' and think of someone who sold their soul for power. But Wyll isn't like that. He's arguably the most morally good in the party. He just had to take the deal with Mizora because he had no other choice. Him being partially transformed into a Devil for doing the right choice adds fuel to the idea that they're trying to show being a Warlock or looking like a monster doesn't mean you're bad. The road to Hell is paved with good intentions. I think Wyll is probably the best Origin to play as your PC, he has a very relatable story that isn't a 'chosen one' trope like Shadowheart, Lae'zel or Gale.
Wyll is my favorite origin companion (it's honestly a tossup between him and Karlach). He's such a Disney prince of a guy and he just adores Tav/Durge so much. I know people write him off as boring but he's so sweet!
It kind of irks me that you are supposedly restrained by tying your hands behind your back with simple ropes. A wizard with strength of 8 (below that of average human), sure. But a barbarian with str of 20 (literally almost the same as a giant? He would rip those ropes apart effortlessly
Romancing Wyll with Dark Urge is like, instead of the PC fixing him, it's him fixing the PC 😂
He is so sweet
I love him to bits

I love how they say, "I wish you had told me sooner" even though earlier in the game you can tell each of them that you have a dark urge.

Wyll is so sweet?? Damn. I think this is the most gentle DU resistance I’ve seen so far 🥺
Astarion is so sweet too ❤
You never saw Karlach's one
5:41 You can resist, you *Wyll* resist.
Wyll speaks like someone who has had the same thoughts.

"Show it no fear, grant it no mercy"
Damn, Wyll went from a bit of a cringe lord in EA to such a likeable man in the release version

Its too wholesome. My heart…
It really is! Astarion, Karlach, and Wyll’s reaction are the sweetest ❤️
Wyll is just too pure, I love him.
He is my favourite companion no doubt even before his rewrite

Ok fine I’m gonna do a DU x Wyll playthrough you’ve twisted my arm 😂😂😂
"I love feeling you close... but are you sure-?"
Sure about what? SURE ABOUT WHAT, WYLL??? 😳
Explain yourself Wyll!

Even Wyll seems sweeter and more understanding during this then Gale. 😭I was honestly disappointed by Gale's reaction. He seemed kinda mean about it.
God he's perfect I'm madly in love with him
I love Wyll sm 😢❤
Damn,Wyll looks like....hell.
