HARLEY DAVIDSON PANAMERICA - Project 1-100.000km presents 👋 The true test review after 49730 km 👍

The PANAMERICA 1250 special has arrived in the top class of adventure motorcycles. Since 26.06.2021 I own a PAN Special beside my BMW GS 1250 HPA. With my friends from K+M Harleyworld we got startet with the project 1-100.000 km. Our vision is to check the usability, the reliability and the sustainability of the new HD Motorcycle. Challenge 1 and 2 related to the usability and reliability was already completed end of October 2021. We mounted a lot of useful stuff to make the Pan really usable for off-road adventures. Therefore a lot of innovations are mounted on my PAN „Elvis“ to make it fit for purpose. We have crossed all high alp passes on gravel and asphalt in July 2021. In August 2021 we went to the island of corse to cross also all high passes under high temperature conditions (40 degrees or hotter outside temp) Then my PAN „ELVIS“ has felt sand under its tyres for the first time. In September / October 2021 we got started with challenge 2. We had moved to Morocco to the high Atlas region. We crossed all high Atlas passes including the Col de Ouano on gravel, we circled the big duna of Erg Chebbi on old rally Dakar tracks and we checked out heavy city traffic under high temperature conditions. Result: The PAN collected during 4 month almost 30577 km on its meter. Almost 15% of this driven kilometers where been carried out on unsaved roads, mud, gravel or sand. So unter the line the PAN made it on all playgrounds where the competitor brands usually run their shows. This without breakdown or other serious problems….. On 31st October 2021, I have shipped my PAN to Chile. I travelled on 1st of January to Chile. Thereafter I picked up my „Elvis“ in San Antonio and the Challenge 3 „Chile-Patagonia“ got started. We accomplished the famous carrenterrea austral (Ruta 7) southbound completely. We approached Torres del Paine and we visited Ushuaia, the most far city on the continent. Thereafter we went back on the Argentinian side via the famous Ruta 40 northbound. We visited El Calafate and El Chaiten (Fitz Roy NP) before we completed our circle after 11561 km accomplished end of February 2022 in Santiago. Yes, we had some technical problems! No, the motorcycle never let us behind. It was always running. Between February and August 2022 we faced spare part delivery problems (COVID CRISIS) and customs problems. When Elvis was fixed in August we shipped him back to Germany. We have to point out that Elvis was the first HD Panamerica on all high Alp Passes, the first one in Morocco on all high Atlas Masses and Erg Chebbi and the first one on Ruta 7, in Ushuaia, on Ruta 40 and finally on related Passes of the south Andes Mountains. Based on our experience we tackled a lot of issues and after 49730 km testing during 10 driving month, Wunderlich Adventure had established a strong partnership with us. While riding this lines in December 2022 is my PAN Elvis back on its way to Chile. „Elvis“ had received a face lifting from Wunderlich and we are looking forward to launch Challenge 4 in South America moving Northbound this time. However it is time for a review now. After nearly 50.000 km completed this video will report to my followers, HD Enthusiasts, PAN Owners and all interested people THE GOOD - THE BAD - AND THE UGLY Points of this motorcycle in a fair and fit manner as we have tested the bike under very strong conditions. Simply it visited evidently all competitors playgrounds… This video is part of the Harley Davidson Panamerica 1-100.000km edition our long lasting test which mainly relayed to the point sustainability.
