It’s a long ways off, but I think two very notable Banner Breakdown videos would be of Tez and Tonolico. The latter moreso because I believe her multi core potential is not fully understood by the wider FGO community. I see her used more than initially anticipated upon her release
Id like to see a kukulkan tez banner breakdown once those characters come to na. Their strength is so universally agreed upon that we dont really have people going into specifics of what they are really good in. And maybe which character you should pick over another. Tiamat too because that characters strength ends up being debated due to belonging to the alter ego class. Finally, despite her being a rerun, due to bazett being a very unorthodox character, id like to see your final pulling opinions on her.
tldr for Kuku. - She gets variety of buffs so her damage calculation went unga bunga - Generate stars like there's no tomorrow on passives alongside turning invul to super invul - Amazing damage modifier on np - Skill set is amazing as well (this needs a video of it's own) - She can np spam with said buffs and damage multiplier on buster thus having the benefit of oberon's thirds skill The only cons are : - Needs kuro summer to use BG, she needs 50% ce for the standard VVO but most of the time event dmg ce have 50% so... - Only have evasion pierce - Needs VVO and sometimes summer kuro - No standard foreigner passive - Her class being foreigner can be counted as con but her damage bypass it
@@ZuraJura cons 1 & 3 apply to all buster 50% charger its not even her con its the con of 50% buster charger as a whole evasion pierce isn't even a con as most buster farmers doesn't even have a piercing skill and considering each of her skills are stacked party wide attack and crit defense and targetable 50% are very good agree with 4 & 5 but she doesn't even need existence outside domain as her damage is already if not equal to those who have it her crits are on par with van gogh buffing them her real con is that she requires more tapping'/clicking

@@ZuraJura but like I said its never a con as most servant doesn't even have piercing arjuna, morgan and etc. doesn't have it does it hinders them? no if thats your logic 80% of the roster have piercing issues your issue that she can't farm without VVO isn't even a real issue for her as its applicable to every buster servant if anything shes already better as she only needs double vitch and a third 50% charger compared to those with 30% charge and worst for those that requires niche to buster loop arts is just flexible and having tons of options for support its not her issue its the issue of the servant design in general
I think the obvious picks are Tezcatlipoca, Kukulkan, Tiamat & Draco! But apart from those I think Van Gogh deserves a video when her event, Imaginary Scramble, becomes a Main Interlude in a couple months. She's been the co-star in many of your videos and I think it would be interesting to hear about your experiences. I think few people pushed her to the extremes as you did. (Talking points could be the importance of NP levels in Foreigner / Non-Foreigner teams, preferred partners when duplicate servants aren't allowed, prospects in the coming two years with the new Foreigner releases, minturn vs- stall comps etc.). She’s definitely excellent and makes sense to have people going all out for her. Of course…definitely skipping. Summer Melusine didn’t take the crown, but she’s close enough! And being Melusine is an absolute edge.

For example if you run 6 CE Summer Melusine can potentially hit 90++ damage thresholds (ie 750k average damage) at NP1 with enough niches. Summer Ibuki needs NP5 level 120 to do the same even against Earth attribute

As a NA only player it is definitely good to get a JP/CQ master's opinion on these banners and how viable they are for at least 2 years. I would say do these banner breakdowns only for newly release servants and servants that has a banner after they get a buff as there are values in the content, also not to burn yourself out. Considering I already got NP5 120 Eresh for anti earth and NP4 100 Spishtar for arts looping, it's a skip for me, despite her being as good as she is. I think I'll just throw pulls at Skadi and maybe Merlin before skipping for either Tez or Bastoria (Depending on how much I like the former in the story)
Honestly? Good take. FOMO dictates going after the next "best in class" looper, but if you have one hyper-invested already, getting the next one to the same level is huge investment for what it gets you. Speaking strictly gameplay-wise, you'll get a lot more bang for your buck from rolling a wider range of supports, and looking for units that enable a wider range of comps like Arc, Tezcatlipoca, and Tonelico. Or just rolling for character favoritism. Of course if you're into uneven Raita cheeks or something, go crazy!
Same, I got np5 lvl120 meluko and spishtar, so I don't really need her. Her damage potential might be higher, but since I got draco to save for, I can't spare the sq to roll multiple copies, so I'll go for np1 lady avalon and skadi and that's it. Also skipped arc because of that.
She is Very overrated especially if you got good arts loopers anyway. In JP she is already starting to lose her dominance in use cases when you got reasons to use Summer Musashi or Ruler Melu over her
I feel this way myself. I've got Summer Musashi at NP5 and just trying to pull one more to take her to 120. I see no reason to get Ibuki especially when Musashi's skill to completely ignore Invincible for 3 turns is already busted as hell. Ibuki looks good on paper and is great for those that don't have better but knowing that Musashi is still king in the Arts looping. It's really a no brainer to pass on Ibuki.

If I already spent a grand on the iPhone 14 why would I spend even more than that for the 15 that's just one up from that? One generation isn't enough of a difference in performance and features to justify the investment
I did 10 joke rolls on arcueid banner and I got xu fu, that's all I needed since xu fu is an permanent 3 star aka I can get her anytime I hope my luck doesn't decreases on the summer ibuki banner
I feel like a Banner Breakdown on the Fairy Cup banners would be great, as there are a bunch of potential power picks like Morgan, Charlemagne, Kriemhild, Herc, and Kintoki, but also a bunch of powerhouses coming just a few months after like the rest of the LB6 cast, Papa Tez, & Kuku.
My NP5 Arc is more interested in 2 more copies of BG instead of Ibuki... And if I need more T3 dmg I can 3T loop with double oberon and koyan with lvl1 Mana Loading. So I'm gonna get Proto Merlin probably. And Skadi if I'm lucky with Merlin and akip Ibuki for now. Who is the best Arts servant in JP for CQs through? To pair with Castoria, Proto Merlin and Tamamo?
As a Berserker magnet, hoping that Summer Ibuki won't spook me when I roll for Summer Erice. Edit: I did get spooked by Summer Ibuki twice on my first 2 multi. Got only Summer Erice on my 4th and 5th multi.

I'll go np2 for her to match the np2 saber version. I already have summer musashi and space ishtar so I don't NEED Ibuki, but I like her and she's good so that's good enough for me.
How well does Summer Ibuki do on odd nodes compared to S!Musashi. Plan to roll period but good to ask. Yes NP3 2k 100 musashi but i like Ibuki. Just never a good time to roll her
How would Summer Melusine actually compare to Summer Ibuki? Both are art loopers with earth coverage. Summer Melusine is no buffs either. The only difference I can see would be their class and skill NP charge gain.

Going for NP3-5 S.Ibuki and maybe NP1 S.Skadi if I can manage it. Have around 2000 SQ and 170 tickets after lucking into NP3 Arc while I was going for a single copy of Xu Fu (which took around 330 SQ). Would have actually been NP4 crazily enough but I got spooked by Waver and Arjuna unfortunately (would have taken her to 120 if she had). After that it's saving time until the Tiamat/Draco banners (those are gonna be a doozy).
I already have SMusashi NP3 and i'm still rolling for Ibuki cause she's just that strong, i kinda hate it that she's better than Musashi in every way but at least Musashi will become some kinda bikini Archer vs Sabers in the future :)
Waiting until the JP summer servant, but assuming there's no one broken, I think I'll try and go for NP5 Summer Melusine over Ibuki for consistency. She's Great for Challenge quest because she's a ruler, crit damage up skills, and can NP loop. She's Great for Black Grail Farming/ 0NP lotto CE with 20NP Append skill, and Oberon + 2 * 50 charging support.
I have a lvl 118 Np3 Melusine and a lvl 100 np2 Space Ishtar (she's since been replaced by Melusine in 99% of cases). Rolling for Ibuki would be a waste, wouldn't it? For the most part.
if you care about bonding units, melusine needs double koyanskaya + oberon to farm whereas summer ibuki only needs xu fu + a friend's castoria (not even your own)
Dumb question but are all three main summer banners gonna be on simultaneously for a day, or would I have to roll on them as they come out for the servants

Should I skip her if I already have Morgan at np3 with proper CE and supports like koyan light and Oberon? I only have 280q left after np1 Arcueid and I am prioritizing for Proto Merlin and summer Skadi.
Well, it's about your preference. I already have NP5 Morgan with proper CE and supports too for all type 3T farm, and Summer Kama at np2 already for faster farm. So I have no reason to roll her. But still it's your choise. Yet I recommend to skip her and prioritize getting another support servant.
20:14 When you mentioned she is a 4* so she is easier to obtain, but this is true only because this is the one single summer that doesn't have a 4* double rate up...(yeah looking forward to roll summer bob next year)

Here is the total number of aoe "generic" art unit: Kama, Si, marie,(i dont count nito) Lancerlot summer, johana, kiara do kinda worse damage duo to stat or class but they are basically unkillable or have some other niche. Then there is the more specifc class like alter ego and foreigners, there is alot of aoe art generic looper and they give us like 2 a year so being the best at a job that so easy to replace will also be her bigest downfall because other unit still have other thing they do and not just unga bunga damage go brrrr. More advance note want actual class advantage or specific niche damage while some event have bonus damage ce and such so there are not really that much of a different between the top 1 dps or top 2/3. For a new player she is the best, for a developed player she is the best investment trap out there (for the people saying a max all ibuki swept the game, does all of this mean anything if you have the resource to do that?)
I have some questions before I start spending the rest of my sq on Ibuki. I have np3 Melusine, np2 Juano and np3 Spishtar. I saved till now about 1500 sq and 250 tickets. I am planning to get S.Skadi, Lady Avalon and np2 Douman. I don't need any dps for quests with difficulty below 90++ cuz I got them covered. Questions: 1-Does she outdamage Godjuna against non-earth enemies with all buffs (own buffs and support buffs)? 2-Since minimum np copies for doing 90++ is 5 copies and I can't get more than 2 copies (or 3 if I'm very lucky), Is she still worth getting for me? 3-If I had to get her no matter what, Who should I abandon? Douman and L.Avalon?
Np 2 SKama is always better than potential np 1 SIbuki (depends on your luck and sq). Since in fgo supports meta is always better than dps, and eventually she gonna get another rerun if you want her.
Already got my Space Ishtar to NP5 level 120, so I'm skipping Ibuki's banner... Only issue is that I really wanted avenger Erice. Guess I'm waiting for the next SR ticket

I have level 100 np2 spishtar, while I would like to upgrade towards Summer Ibuki, my goal is Summer Skadi+Summer Wu as priority 1, and I have a little over what I need to hit pity if need be. If I get them early though, I have to choose between going for Sibuki or Lady Avalon
I’m honestly gonna have to skip this banner for the most part, while I like Ibuki and really like Erice, I gotta save for summer Skadi. Having another Skadi is really great for all the quick farmers I have, where as I already have an Np3 Berserker Musashi making summer Ibuki a non need. Not sure if I’ll go for Merlina, unfortunately I don’t really care the 4* on three tree banners except for Erice.
I use S. Ibuki a lot more than Morgan. My NP5 Morgan's damage is sort of bad if going against a non-human non-fae. Ibuki crushes even if it isn't earth attribute enemies.
My destiny summon gave me normal skadi so I’ll probably pass up on Proto Merlin(np2 castoria more than gets the job done) and just go for ibuki and summer skadi
I want her so badly but because i dont have oberon yet, I have to choose my battles and Skadi, Lady Avalon and Doumen take the first place for me to try and grab

NP2 Ibuki was one of the first SSRs I got when I made my JP account two years ago, and combined with LA, Waver, and a borrowed Castoria, she carried me a long way as I rushed through the story, making it just in time to play LB7 upon release. Now she’s NP3, level 120, 2000/2000 gfous, and bond 15, so she’s taking a backseat unless I really need her for something.
Tbh is curious how even as a berserker she can work as a semi summer support. She literally gives everyone something they need, on top of being a good DPS herself Ok Ibuki, you win. You will get to work as Achilles' farming sucessor if Skadi comes early and I get lucky enough 😅 I guess I will finally get to use Castoria as an arts support instead of a quick support😂😂
Im gonna skip ibuki since i want to roll summer meluko in the future, but at the same time i want summer erice. So maybe im gonna see my results first with summer skadi and proto merlin roll before rolling on this banner.
Just a few days ago someone replied to me about S.Ibuki being one of the few people to be able to consistently farm 90++ and that got me thinking. Like as a long time player I have access to ALOT of STs that can solve alot of the 90++ and DPS wise while your not gonna be looping reaching the numbers required for wave 3 is easy for alot of units, yet people still treat it like 90++ is this really hard Challenge Quest level form of content. Maybe a Video on the way FGO has treated 90++ and how they actually play would be a good thing to have as of right now? With Summer being the first 90++(which Saito and other STs can easily clear) a overview of 90++ as of right now compared to how they were originally released would be fitting

I still can’t believe the cope when she first dropped. “Musashi’s still better for CQs!” No she’s not. They even gave Ibuki crit synergy which is so out of pocket and unnecessary for her, already packed, kit. Why couldn’t they have given Musashi stars per turn and a three turn Crit up on her evade instead? They just straight up printed a better unit, and it made them give Musashi a disgusting buff that ruins a class. Terrible design, because what room is there for any other Looping Berserker in the arts category? She literally bullied Musashi out of the category. And then there’s Duryodhana, poor bastard.
I feel bad for the Archer class. Before the Mushashi buff, i hated the class because its one of my least favourite classes to play as( with some exceptions). So now with the buff, the best ST saber boss killer and the best AOE option for sabers are both zerks. Saber Ibuki may have stolen the job of Mushashi, but Mushashi made a whole class be redundant

All I've been hearing is about how good Ibuki is, but I've got summer Kama at NP 2 so I'm not sure it would even be worth rolling for her if I can't get her to at least NP 2, too
"Best" is subjective, as per usual. She iust makes it more simpler to do. Unfortunately because competition got more heated up her sole unique niche against them is cutting down CD for a target ally's skills... which is a novelty i guess. But let's be honest here : "All Arts farmers do the same thing with just one gimmick being their difference from one another", so if you already have one the others are just for collection purposes. Or if you're slave to brainrot. Edit : Ironically enough i like Aoi Yuuki but i don't like the Servants she voices kekw.
For me Erice is the grand prize. I like her and I want to grail her and Lancer. I like Ibuki too. I like all Raita females. But I have NP3 Space Ishtar. (Not by choice)
Skipping, I feel like my chaldea is stable and capable of taking on any challenge, Ibuki would be an amazing addition but as a f2p I'm at that point where I'd rather save for future servants which are both good and servants I enjoy a lot, which means Kukulkan, Tiamom and Draco. I already have a pretty strong 120 Melusine, it's not like I need a buster farmer more than I need summer Ibuki but I like those 3 more. Also skipped Arcueid for same reason and will skip Ruler Skadi and Lady Avalon as well, if pity was a reasonable amount I'd try to get one of each but alas, it's not, and choices have to be made.

Summer Ibuki could be a 1 hit AoE quick servant and I would still roll for her.

Speaking strictly gameplay-wise, you'll get a lot more bang for your buck from rolling a wider range of supports, and looking for units that enable a wider range of comps like Arc, Tezcatlipoca, and Tonelico. Or just rolling for character favoritism.
Of course if you're into uneven Raita cheeks or something, go crazy!
Same, I got np5 lvl120 meluko and spishtar, so I don't really need her. Her damage potential might be higher, but since I got draco to save for, I can't spare the sq to roll multiple copies, so I'll go for np1 lady avalon and skadi and that's it. Also skipped arc because of that.
She is Very overrated especially if you got good arts loopers anyway. In JP she is already starting to lose her dominance in use cases when you got reasons to use Summer Musashi or Ruler Melu over her
I feel this way myself. I've got Summer Musashi at NP5 and just trying to pull one more to take her to 120. I see no reason to get Ibuki especially when Musashi's skill to completely ignore Invincible for 3 turns is already busted as hell.
Ibuki looks good on paper and is great for those that don't have better but knowing that Musashi is still king in the Arts looping. It's really a no brainer to pass on Ibuki.
@the_wake_ I mean it's the same mentality as people needing to get the latest and greatest phone. If I already spent a grand on the iPhone 14 why would I spend even more than that for the 15 that's just one up from that? One generation isn't enough of a difference in performance and features to justify the investment

I feel like a Banner Breakdown on the Fairy Cup banners would be great, as there are a bunch of potential power picks like Morgan, Charlemagne, Kriemhild, Herc, and Kintoki, but also a bunch of powerhouses coming just a few months after like the rest of the LB6 cast, Papa Tez, & Kuku.
My NP5 Arc is more interested in 2 more copies of BG instead of Ibuki... And if I need more T3 dmg I can 3T loop with double oberon and koyan with lvl1 Mana Loading. So I'm gonna get Proto Merlin probably. And Skadi if I'm lucky with Merlin and akip Ibuki for now.

How would Summer Melusine actually compare to Summer Ibuki? Both are art loopers with earth coverage. Summer Melusine is no buffs either. The only difference I can see would be their class and skill NP charge gain.
If you want to slap Black Grail/event damage CE on a servant and use them as many places as possible. S. Ibuki is the best, unquestionably
But if you start looking at other things like 6 CE or niches), I think Summer Ibuki starts to fall apart. For example if you run 6 CE Summer Melusine can potentially hit 90++ damage thresholds (ie 750k average damage) at NP1 with enough niches. Summer Ibuki needs NP5 level 120 to do the same even against Earth attribute

Have around 2000 SQ and 170 tickets after lucking into NP3 Arc while I was going for a single copy of Xu Fu (which took around 330 SQ).
Would have actually been NP4 crazily enough but I got spooked by Waver and Arjuna unfortunately (would have taken her to 120 if she had).
After that it's saving time until the Tiamat/Draco banners (those are gonna be a doozy).

Waiting until the JP summer servant, but assuming there's no one broken, I think I'll try and go for NP5 Summer Melusine over Ibuki for consistency. She's Great for Challenge quest because she's a ruler, crit damage up skills, and can NP loop. She's Great for Black Grail Farming/ 0NP lotto CE with 20NP Append skill, and Oberon + 2 * 50 charging support.
I have a lvl 118 Np3 Melusine and a lvl 100 np2 Space Ishtar (she's since been replaced by Melusine in 99% of cases). Rolling for Ibuki would be a waste, wouldn't it? For the most part.

Well, it's about your preference. I already have NP5 Morgan with proper CE and supports too for all type 3T farm, and Summer Kama at np2 already for faster farm. So I have no reason to roll her.
But still it's your choise. Yet I recommend to skip her and prioritize getting another support servant.

Lancerlot summer, johana, kiara do kinda worse damage duo to stat or class but they are basically unkillable or have some other niche.
Then there is the more specifc class like alter ego and foreigners, there is alot of aoe art generic looper and they give us like 2 a year so being the best at a job that so easy to replace will also be her bigest downfall because other unit still have other thing they do and not just unga bunga damage go brrrr.
More advance note want actual class advantage or specific niche damage while some event have bonus damage ce and such so there are not really that much of a different between the top 1 dps or top 2/3.
For a new player she is the best, for a developed player she is the best investment trap out there (for the people saying a max all ibuki swept the game, does all of this mean anything if you have the resource to do that?)
I have some questions before I start spending the rest of my sq on Ibuki.
I have np3 Melusine, np2 Juano and np3 Spishtar. I saved till now about 1500 sq and 250 tickets.
I am planning to get S.Skadi, Lady Avalon and np2 Douman. I don't need any dps for quests with difficulty below 90++ cuz I got them covered.
Questions:
1-Does she outdamage Godjuna against non-earth enemies with all buffs (own buffs and support buffs)?
2-Since minimum np copies for doing 90++ is 5 copies and I can't get more than 2 copies (or 3 if I'm very lucky), Is she still worth getting for me?
3-If I had to get her no matter what, Who should I abandon? Douman and L.Avalon?

Np 2 SKama is always better than potential np 1 SIbuki (depends on your luck and sq). Since in fgo supports meta is always better than dps, and eventually she gonna get another rerun if you want her.

You can still borrow but she certainly is not as broken. If you have strong quick units i suggest summer skadi over ibuki

Depends, if you already have Buster support for Morgan but don't have art support for Summer Ibuki then skip.
I use S. Ibuki a lot more than Morgan. My NP5 Morgan's damage is sort of bad if going against a non-human non-fae. Ibuki crushes even if it isn't earth attribute enemies.

My destiny summon gave me normal skadi so I’ll probably pass up on Proto Merlin(np2 castoria more than gets the job done) and just go for ibuki and summer skadi
I want her so badly but because i dont have oberon yet, I have to choose my battles and Skadi, Lady Avalon and Doumen take the first place for me to try and grab
so basically, unless i get done in by lasagna, i either get a great aoe looper, or a great st avenger on this banner

NP2 Ibuki was one of the first SSRs I got when I made my JP account two years ago, and combined with LA, Waver, and a borrowed Castoria, she carried me a long way as I rushed through the story, making it just in time to play LB7 upon release. Now she’s NP3, level 120, 2000/2000 gfous, and bond 15, so she’s taking a backseat unless I really need her for something.

Just a few days ago someone replied to me about S.Ibuki being one of the few people to be able to consistently farm 90++ and that got me thinking.
Like as a long time player I have access to ALOT of STs that can solve alot of the 90++ and DPS wise while your not gonna be looping reaching the numbers required for wave 3 is easy for alot of units, yet people still treat it like 90++ is this really hard Challenge Quest level form of content.
Maybe a Video on the way FGO has treated 90++ and how they actually play would be a good thing to have as of right now? With Summer being the first 90++(which Saito and other STs can easily clear) a overview of 90++ as of right now compared to how they were originally released would be fitting

No she’s not. They even gave Ibuki crit synergy which is so out of pocket and unnecessary for her, already packed, kit.

Terrible design, because what room is there for any other Looping Berserker in the arts category? She literally bullied Musashi out of the category.

I feel bad for the Archer class. Before the Mushashi buff, i hated the class because its one of my least favourite classes to play as( with some exceptions). So now with the buff, the best ST saber boss killer and the best AOE option for sabers are both zerks. Saber Ibuki may have stolen the job of Mushashi, but Mushashi made a whole class be redundant

"Best" is subjective, as per usual. She iust makes it more simpler to do. Unfortunately because competition got more heated up her sole unique niche against them is cutting down CD for a target ally's skills... which is a novelty i guess. But let's be honest here : "All Arts farmers do the same thing with just one gimmick being their difference from one another", so if you already have one the others are just for collection purposes. Or if you're slave to brainrot.

Skipping, I feel like my chaldea is stable and capable of taking on any challenge, Ibuki would be an amazing addition but as a f2p I'm at that point where I'd rather save for future servants which are both good and servants I enjoy a lot, which means Kukulkan, Tiamom and Draco.
