But you stood tall and firm and have left a legacy. God planned this path for you and has rewarded you and Brett with this wonderful adventure. KUDOS to all of the Town Council of Otter Creek in getting to "Move Forward"(finally) to find ways to improve your communities well being and services. Its going to take time to get things on the right track, but once its all in motion.. .hopefully all the Naysayers will see how badly a lot of things spoken about as town improvements are really needed.
This looks like a great thing for Otter Creek. With the bad players out now the town will hopefully move forward.

Iv said it 3 or 4 times. They need to pass an ordinary for the dogs. All dogs inside and outside dogs have to be registered with the city with a picture of the dog and have a copy of all vaccines from a vet. And the city charges a fee for the registration. So that would be a way for the city to make an income.

Was it hot outside? Temp? If so, child abuse comes to mind.
Maybe that's why she was walking down a dangerous road with a child in front of her, lienette knows she can't go to the meeting, sent herself into a stew because she is finding it hard not doing what she wants whenever she wants.

With RUclips being on the move and Otter Creek being highlighted in the news. Eye feel that the town hall meeting would look better if you put the American flag and the Florida flag centered in between the two windows behind Mayor Zim. I believe it would make the meeting more politically, correct. The meeting this month look great. A lot of things got accomplished. I think Don finally realized he stuck his foot in his mouth one too many times. I hope you will be back in time for the Otter Creek railroad festival. God bless you too and have fun on your new life journey.

Loved the pics Belinda had was so cool. Those old pics of town can make you dream of how you can make your town functional again. You do need a restaurant and gas station in town, maybe even a B&B for visitors that campground can’t cover. ♥️❤️🥰♥️❤️

Madame Mayor - I pray that you are feeling better - I do not know you personally - but I have seen you on line here and with others from Otter Creek. Everyone has days when they just don't want to talk -and I see lots of thoughts shared here and pretty sure out of love and concern for you. My prayer is that you feel loved, that you are enjoying your time in Alaska, and that you know many are praying for you. I believe many are feeling very concerned for the little girl on that property - and I pray that she has been saved and what ever Lienette was doing is addressed. For all of us - we need to prayer that CPS does the RIGHT THING! God bless you and take care. 🙏❤

Nice way of explaining the tax funds - thank you. I always have trouble understanding how most residents don't seem to realize the town runs at a deficit and cannot continue that way. If you can't generate more income, the only smart move is to unincorporate! Hudson, FL is an unincorporated town in West Pasco County, we get all the same services as the rest of the county without the local bureaucracy, it's bad enough with the county bureaucracy lol.
I thought that lady was a bit rude turning up to her first meeting asking about the money. Bit fishy and may be don or lienettes mole or just someone that wants money from a festival in her pocket.

Hi from Paradise,Texas. I have been watching before you became Madame Mayor in a few videos. I thought to myself that you would be a great person to know. When you was put on the council it was a great blessing for Otter Creek. As true to God's Word, what's is hid in the dark cimes out in the light. Your patience and joyful personality has brought such a great beginning for a better place for many whom has just got tired of being taken advantage of. Hiring Ms Belinda was another blessing for this little community. I feel like now that the good has allowed the town to start feeling better about things. Now with the council seated, I feel it will continue to ward off the abuse of so many areas. You are truly missed , but I believe when God needs you to continue the path of His choosing you will continue on that journey until its time for another path,. I pray you and your husband are blessed with continued safe journeys, beautiful blessings as you are sharing great love to all you meet, and find the house of your dreams. I have been watching Don's and Riuss' attempts to interfere with the Town Meetings. I commend everyone for their restraint and patience with these clowns to bully the citizens of Otter Creek. Have Don SPECIFICALLY state what the council is doing that breaks the norms of behavior to be immoral, what law the council broke to as be illegal, and what norms of society or traditions are believed to be punishable by the community. As for me, I would have told him shut up a long time ago, and investigate the criminology of taking payment for work he did not complete.

Don has the opportunity to help the town & let it prosper from outside of the council. He can gain validation & respect by volunteering to help with projects such as the upcoming event.
There is a lot that my son and are with creative ideas that we are willing to help with Otter Creek. We have been talking for a year now about moving to O.C. to help with everything and buying an RV to move there.
We are Christian people and even willing to have a church there.

City of St Mark's collects taxes and only provides minimal services, majority is for payment of council? Same issue?
Twenty o to so o years ago a lot of it rural towns in here in NY had to incorporate because they couldn't afford to exist. People lost their minds that their identity would be gone. Well, decades later there's still signs as you enter each of those towns with the town name in it. Where I live there is a small city surrounded by villages and towns. There are sections of the area that had names that were absorbed into the towns . This happened long ago . A couple were lost to time but, most still are called their old names and don't have signs. You lose your identity if you allow it to fade away.
Some of the best towns are unincorporated.
