    The black dot on the weld symbol indicates a weld that needs to be welded on site. This is normally done for pipes that are to be site measured to fit.

      It does help a lot thank you very much sir, I am able to interpret it easily I just believe my friends might find some trouble in it but I'll gladly translate it for them, thank you regardless you helped tremendously with the Matric PATS our teacher believed that you had better insight on the PAT, showed us every part of your series and basically left the tutoring for our entire class into your hands. Even though I wasn't in your class you are still one of my top favorites teachers😋

    2:50 are the sections A-A correct? The cut out is on the left

      Hi, well spotted. The document is a SANS convention document and not necessarily drawn in Third Angle Orthographic Projection. If it was, I agree with you, the successive sections should then have been on the left and not on the right as shown...
