I always felt like the harmony riff should've kicked in when the drums did. I feel like it was a missed opportunity. Either hold the drums back to keep the "rule of 3" or kick the harmony in when you do the drums
This album came out at the perfect time for me as a teen so I was really into it. I look back and a lot of it is cringy but the riffs still hold up for the most part. The mini-breakdown at the end is pretty cool, too.
It's cute thinking a7x invented the 5-7-8 metalcore style riff Edit: also if this is a "rip-off" of unholy confessions, then literally every metalcore song in existence is a rip-off of Painkiller
I've always wrote them off too but this song has some great riffs. I need to check out more of their stuff.
love these guys. they've come a long way.

I've seen bvb in concert and they've played this song in Omaha it's always been a dream of mine and seeing Andy I was so happy
What a banger!
At the gates inspired riffs go hard
I used to be obsessed with BVB back in 2013-2015 lmao. This band is the reason why i have The Mystic in my name
edit: also LMFAOOOO at the ending
BVB always had good instrumentation, but Andy’s vocals have always ruined this band.
4.20 long, weeeeeed
Ah yes, the Unholy Confessions rip off
It does kinda sound like a scuffed Unholy Confessions lol
There's a video called the most used metal riff and this riff been used since 1985

@@Chainbrain I wouldn't be surprised if ensamples of it exist form before the power and hair metal lot was doing it.
Exactly. All music is inspired and drawn from other places, but calling something a rip-off is so lazy lmao
