thats a narrow narrow train, my country's trains are "narrow" 1067mm gauge, one day they hit a loaded semi truck at 50kph and the loco was good as new!
No not on a loco it's not like on the movies. The bins are 11 ton the loco is only 14 ton so can't put to much pressure on brakes as it will just lock up and slide
@@kitkat2407 To add to Brodie's comment, these trains are not continuously braked, the only brakes that can be used by the crew are those on the locomotive and perhaps a radio-controlled "brake van" at the rear of the train. So if you're on the locomotive, you'll hear its brakes only; not that much to hear.

It was a narrow gauge train, that explains why it derailed. Had it been standard gauge, it would have dragged that combine about half a mile
That would have been good!

Dang that was crazy

That's called "on the last day of someone's job." I'm guessing the driver of that harvester was looking for a new one after this.
RIP harvester
Wat hapin in the ackdant wit the harvister plase lat me know
Was there any attempt to brake? I can't hear no brakes.
A train cannot just brake like a car especially if it has 800 ton pushing it
@@brodiehawes1430 yeah I get that. But shouldn't you be able to hear brakes?

Normally in crashes the train always wins but in cases like this it's a tie.
Bc it’s narrow gauge
