I was at South Johnstone back in 2014 , spent a week there shooting Cane trains and had a great time. Need to get back up there again soon , as I love the little critters..LOL. I will check out your new video of the 3 parts and thanks for posting these.
Cheers Gregg.
Awesome, yeah South Johnstone Mill is awesome! It’s certainly changed a lot since 2014; with many more of the locos now looking quite different due to recent rebuilds by the mills current operator, MSF Sugar. Thanks for your comment!😄
Great video 👍🏻 Its a nice memory to my australia trip 1998. Greetings from Austria 🇦🇹
Thank you! I’m to see some international people here. Welcome. 😄
G'day Mates!! Kind regards from Bs. As. Argentina... Amazing footage, all the best Aussie, may I call you this way?? Un abrazo, Rodolfo
Hi! Yes, it’s fine to call Australians an “Aussie” as that is our nickname for people from our nation.
Awesome train footage
Thank you
Yes
I like sth jhonstone and maybe I get a job at the msf sugar mill has a cane loco offsider
This is really cool, not like in my country... but we won in the classics... with an old fleet that can still transport sugar cane from the fields to the factory
At 1:45, where the 2 trains struggling so they had to get a bigger diesel engine to come and help the little diesel engines up through to the mill?
I just watched until the end of the clip at 1:45 and now I can see why they needed help XD

how much each cage bin weighs when loaded..nice
Thanks! Sugarcane railways have a variety of bins classified by their weight size. For example the ones you see in this video are known as 6 Tonne Bins as they’re maximum weight of cane is around 6 tonnes. 😄
