Fabulous shots TCR. I really want to get up to SJM at some point during the crush. It looks like fascinating network, especially the branch down to the docks at Mourilyan Harbour.

We used to drive down past the South Johnstone mill to go to Silkwood to play Soccer, and every time we went past the mill, it was a special thing for me, seeing all the hard-working cane trains shunting there cane bins into the sidings! I got told be a friend of mine that they dug out a cane train out of the mud at the back of the mill! Not sure if it it the South Johnstone mill or not.
