  • The latest image from the James Webb telescope is causing panic among scientists: What's really going on in the mysterious disk enclosing the nearby star Formalhaut? A worrying new image shows indefinable thickenings within the disk. Formalhaut, which is one of the closest and most important stars from Earth, could be quite different from what was previously thought. Again, astronomers must seriously ask themselves what they really understood about star formation and the cosmos? And could it be that we now also need to radically rethink the formation of exoplanets?

Probably just farming a new planet or star so nobody needs to freak out We will never understand the universe until we listen to Terrence Howard That's just how it is

Where is their mother star and their spaceships, could be up to 50.000km away.

I've heard of a species from formalhaut, not a very intelligent species. Amphibious generally, I think a name that was associated to them was Malrk's. I do wish I was making this up but that's what I have on file. Also referenced under the name of the Sky-Fish gods from the stars.

James Webb has the ability to look very far into space, and therefore, very far into the past. Indeed, although light travels at the dizzying speed of 300,000 kilometers per second, the Universe is so vast that some images that reach us today are billions of years old!
