Thanks for sharing this game, now I'm really intrigued and might attempt a bit of exploring myself :) I think the computer screen shown at 11:00 is a picture of the red barn from the farm area. You can see the placement of the green creatures, and the place where that weird head is behind the barn. Loving the videos, keep it up!
Its sequel hendecad is genuinely one of my favorite games of all time. The best thing you can equate these games to is a still life mixed with abstract art in 3D. It feels like one of the most artistic games out there even though it lacks any coherent message, though i believe playing through it gives such a unique experience that can provide such a great argument for video games being art
I got the feeling the game is about life and death The corridor is a metaphor for the way life goes The farm is heaven, the room with the creatures and the babies is a representation of birth and death, while the river in the back could be a representation of “crossing the River Styx” The apartments is life and how different people go about it (the people praying to the floating guy = religion, the room full of vases = people who collect things, the room with three people living together = family, ect.) I think Hell is that house with the coffins and the hand place it takes you too The people with the antlers are a clear metaphor for god or satan I think the Cement Mixer itself is a symbol of life and how you go though tons of crazy stuff and it mixes with you to create you as a unique individual Just my thoughts at least
awesome video im glad you covered such an obscure game like this, keep it up 👍 edit: i checked out the sequel, hendecad absolute masterpiece you should definitely play it!
Something I noticed is that the silhouette in the apartments at around 10:31 is also in the fake cover art from the start of the video, reflected on the cement mixer. I took note of it at the start bc it looked so strange and it has me even more confused now, like do they actually own this cement mixer and take the photo for that cover art

Can't believe I never heard of this game. I wonder if more doors will be opened someday?
