Quick question about the music: for the listening to podcasts, either through Spotify or download as a file to the watch, is there a way to control the playback speed (like having it play at ×1.5 speed or whatever)?

If you use a Garmin cycle computer will the watch show that as part of your activities for the day? Don’t really want to wear both a watch and have a Garmin computer running at the same time, I assume that would mean that it would come up twice in Garmin Connect if

How do I disconnect the bluetooth speaker and add headphones,..? Thanks found it..
I use it all the time connected to a bluetooth speaker and I can be a good 50 feet from the speaker and it still stays connected , I watch a review about this watch and someone said they would lose connection using ear buds from the watch to the buds in the ear;I have a pair of jaybird ear buds and I just took my watch off and took out my tape measure and walked back 41 feet before it started to fade . . .Also disabling the gestures in the backlight setting will save a lot of battery . I can get 11 full days between charges with the heart rate monitor going full time ,

Hey ! thanks for the video, very helping. One question, Is it possible to have the headphones connected to my cell phone via bluetooth and the watch connected to the cellphone at the same time? It is because I will like to have the possibility of using the headphones to answer calls from the cellphone at the same time that I use the watch to record my activities, change songs or keep my track in the GPS. Hi! I really liked your video, do you think this watch is a good option for 250$ in 2020?
one thing you might've added and that's if you have headphones and are playing music you may need to wear the watch on your right wrist...earing it on your left wrist causes the sound to drop in and out as you swing your arm. Otherwise excellent review !!!
IS there a way to just add music from itunes into this watch. That would be ideal.
How does the watch know the weather (for example) when im not connected to my wifi network. I dont need to connect the watch to the wifi any place i go, do i? How does the watch stay connected with the phone(Bluetooth/Wifi)? If i DONT want my watch to be connected to my phone on the daily base, what features im missing?

Hello, thank you for your kind words. This watch has all three of those features. Alarms can be configured on the watch. Does it measure the total distance (in miles) you have traveled throughout the day? Is there a widget for that? I have a vivosmart hr currently and I really like that feature, wondering if this one has it too.

2. The music is played through the bluetooth audio device you connect to it.
3. I'm not 100% sure about this but I do not think you can create courses.
4. I find the accuracy to be very good. Nearly perfect.

Couple of QQ's:
1. I read very bad reviews about the music feature, especially when you want to update your playlist on the watch. Supposedly, there's no way to erase and over-write the existing playlist, rather than a complete memory wipe of the watch. Is this true? Can you just delete existing playlist/songs on the watch and reload with other songs without having to do a factory reset on the watch? The main reason I am looking to buy this watch is to be able to run without my carrying my phone. If I have to live with just one playlist, that will be a deal breaker for me.
2. Also, "Vivoactive 3 Music" is is priced cheaper than "Vicoactive 3 non-music" on Garmin website, on Amazon too I guess. That also is giving me all doubts about the actual performance of the watch, battery, music feature etc. Please give me your input on my questions.

Does this watch have pre loaded animated workouts do do in the gym?
Do I need my phone to listen to spotify? Does spotify play offline without the phone? Only with AirPods
Spotify will download the songs to your watch, so no need to have your phone with you to listen to them.
I am specific- Does it have notifications to create like "now go eat", "do your homework"..etc.
And also if it is possible (somehow with phone calendar or other reminder app) to put them into watch and use without phone around. Maybe there is some app for watch to put reminders in?
And also a chance to repeat notifcations daily without writing new everyday.

If it dont works like i wish maybe you can reccommend another watch but with this feature. So far i think garmin is the best for price ;)

Yes, this is possible. You can do the initial setup using a computer and then just connect the Vivoactive 3 Music to a wifi network. It will sync with Gamin via the wifi connection. Hello! You do not need your phone at all with you while you run to use the watch. The watch only uses your phone to sync with Garmin, receive weather information, receive notification (Text, calls, emails) and to control music on your phone. @@GaugingGadgets I have seen it and just watched your review :) It's harder to get from where I live and more expensive then the vivoactive 3. not sure if the 50 euro price difference does rectify the better battery life and the monochrome screen. Is there any performance difference between the Vivoactive 3, Instinct and the 245?

Good review and I gave you a thumbs up, but I almost didn't because "Kokomo" from the Beach Boys?!!. I mean, Brian Wilson deserves the recognition he gets as one of the greatest musical minds in all of pop music, but I veto Kokomo. After seeing your video I bought the watch.....but now I am having some issues with it .... it takes a long time to get connected to the GPS....kindly suggest the way I can fix it

This watch sucks. I'll stay with the Galaxy Watch I can download music via bluetooth . This watch looks to plain.
