ive seen a lot of videos about drumming,,, im a guitarist but i play a bit drum and i like to get it better ... just i was watching your videos and i can tell the huge difference... short and extremely useful ... thank you and you are awesome ...
I always used to say, your metronome has to become your best friend, it was mine for years, just getting used to what different tempos sounded and felt like. It's super important for me especially when working with musicians for the first time, like with Deeds.
really interesting Darren !is it me or I noticed when you want to reach a very fast tempo you use your finger and not only your wrist? the wrist warmup is a good idea that I used for a while too (because of working with injured percusionist) their warm up routine is really helpful for death metal drumming

Haha, yes indeed. Was great working with those guys. The album drops in April I believe, I mixed and mastered it at my studio, was a real pleasure.
