I did also represent my school in running, long jump and so. Threw javelin 40m also when I was 13 or so, and once in school indoors we jumped high jump. I did 160cm 5feet 2-3 inches in my socks, was 13 or 14 at the time. So yeah I guess one could say I’m athletic, but never trained for those things. Only soccer and bowling. I remember my uncle being a great bowler with multiple 300 games. When we'd have a family birthday at the bowling alley, he'd always show off for us kids. If he left a 10 pin he'd take a 6lb kid's ball and throw it so hard that I thought the pin would break. It was always amazing to see.

I wish I could pair the velocity and the accuracy. When i'm throwing at a gnarly split (Greek church, 8-10, 7-10, big 4, or 4-6), I try to impart as much velocity as I can to kick the pins around. I simply know that the precision required to finesse such a shot is just not present in my game-- so my best chance of converting is on a wing and a prayer.

But you’re also going to strike and spare a lot.. And to be honest, I’m pretty sure if I struck every shot I’d get bored with it. Whatever we do and get, even the good.
