Brian Kretzer looks exactly like the ol' dude who's kicking ass at your local bowling alley
The way he grumps too! He's such an uncle
That’s me dude
The casuals, the league, me
Got a 300 when I was 9 and how hold the current world record for youngest 300 bowler
Now* not how
wow. a 2 handed bowler gets a 300 and fagan loses to someone he talked smack on. what a wonderful video.
From what I've seen, Belmonte acts like a snake sometimes.
@@Gumbocinno are you talking about Belmonte vs Rash?
spoiler alert
Not talking smack, he’s just giving his opinion about his opponents.. smack talk is more disrespectful talking
was just at a bowling alley where i talked smack on every two handed bowler. And here i am eating my words
There’s something just so majestic about pros bowling
I’d rather watch women bowlers bowl...
With their shirts off
Bingo Bango check out polish bowler Daria Pajak. Yummy!
They make it look easy.
Yeah!
Gotta be the little hand flailing action after they let go off the ball
Was I the only one satisfied to see Fagan lose after what he said in that little interview about Kretzer?
So satisfying
@@draginator6 :)
No, Kretzer's a poser
Very
that guy's a prick, man
To those complaining about Belmonte’s style I can understand but think about it like this: He chooses not to use his thumb so he is using the other hand just for support. Similar to a basketball shot where they support the ball with two hands at first but then follow through with one (Ballin’ pose). I’ve tried it before and while it gives you much higher spin it’s actually very difficult to do consistently like that, so more power to him for perfecting it.
@@EngineerCatPyro I don't see how it gives any real advantage... He's not using both hands to spin the ball, that's not how it works--the right hand is the one that creates the spin and revs and while it may be a bit easier to do that without the thumb it actually can be dangerous if it's done wrong (another reason he needs to use his left hand to support the ball when throwing). While Belmo does achieve one of the highest if not the highest rev rates, EJ Tackett gets pretty close with one hand. Sean Rash is also able to do a one handed no thumb style (similar to two handed). While I don't really like the style much myself, I don't know how it violates the rules.
@@EngineerCatPyro He only spins with his right hand if you actually pay attention, his left hand only supports the ball since the thumb isnt there. I feel like youre that old dude that is afraid of change. I bet you think all the bullpen changes are ruining baseball too right?
@@EngineerCatPyro Wow, I don't get why you're so mad he is playing within the rules, it seems like you just learn to learn how to advance yourself.
I bowl both ways and you are right, more speed and revs are harder to be consistently accurate.
Though the commentators said straight up that he gets more revs and speed and it’s basically unfair
Not that I care. It’s in the rules he can do what he wants. Anyone who says it’s unfair can go jump

After watching Jason here, I was sure I could do what he did. And, after a couple of practice games, I finally pulled it off and got a strike too ! I think it came in the 6th frame, but was so excited I lost count and it may have been in the 7th. Sadly, a camera malfunction prevented evidence of the feat, but the thrill was there. I'm convinced that with continued practice, one day I may get two !
it’s not hard as long as you have the technique down
@@noahpollack5358 It's all about finding your arrow consistently.
I love watching these perfect game replays, you never know what will happen
Not a single guy gave Belmo a Bro-hug. Not like it used to be. A lot of people would storm the approach and mob the guy when he bowled a 300 back in the day. Now- whoopie, big deal.
Yeah you're right, that's actually kind of sad.
Cuz the ball is ment for 1 hand, he gets to use more hip momentum. Does he bowl 300s with just one hand ever? I'd hug him then.
@Ghotyo Locanisyn you're a wise man.
One Hero he probably has. He can actually throw one handed and does it in his spare time. Also, what do you have against 2 handed style?
@@onehero8317 he could probably throw a 300 game game with 1 hand but there's no reason for him to
That smile and celebration on his 12th strike was surely amazing and spectacular
I Think Bowling is a really beautiful Sport 🎳
It was more beautiful before the oil conditions created this onslaught of 2 handers. Its really the PBAs fault for creating a condition that is more detrimental to one arm accuracy/power.
I would hate to compete against two handers on these conditions.
Daniel Molina yes it is
@@mpup54 either adapt and bowl faster/better or try 2 hand. 2 hand is equally as challenging as 1 handed bowling is, and the oil patterns aren't going anywhere so it's time to learn how to play them differently
Yes bowling is a beautiful sport. I just recently bowled my first 300 game in my league. It just happens the bowling ball Jason Belmonte was bowling with is one that I also have. That’s the Roto Grip Critical Theory. I shot my 300 with the Storm Vivid. Storm Bowling has the best bowling balls on the market.
CANDLEPIN BOWLING IS THIS TEN PIN BOWLING IS A JOKE
Day 4 without sports and I find myself watching this...
Same 😂
@Phil Olivetti TRUUUUUUUTH.
So… what do you watch now?
So what’s bowling? Bowling is a sport.
Day 374 how’s it goin
Even though the title says he bowled a perfect game I still got anxious when he went up
Lmao me too
Especially that 12th strike. I get scared for the 7 pin lol

The most random thing to be in my recommend... but loved every minute
How about the look on belmos face when Fagen ripped ass on the approach before the 10th frame and just shit up the whole area with a bunch of ass Juice!!! Fagan had his head down hoping he wouldn't notice the flavor!!!
Belmonte: hits only the 10 pin
Pins 1-9: Ight bois give him a strike
Can I have that in English please!
@@dtrjones Belmonte: Utilizing the round, weighted battering tool known as “Bowling Ball”, for the purpose of competitively felling ten shaped pieces of wood known as “Bowling Pins”, and challenge made more difficult by an oiled lane, releases his ball in such a way which results in an expected single “Bowling Pin,” specifically the pin in the corner position colloquially known as the “10 pin” is felled
Pins 1-9: (made as a humorous anthropomorphic portrayal, as a reasonable personal would realize that pins do no have minds of their own, but portraying them as such effectively conveys the unexpected acts of physics (given that, contrary to the expected felling of the 10 pin, the unexpected felling of all pins in one flagellation of the ball on the oiled lane, known as a “Strike” colloquially,) as being acts of the pins themselves:) Let us fell ourselves and give sir Belmonte a strike!

@Bongo Cat 😬
i always find myself watching sports like these and just like actually enjoying it and it surprises me.
You should have seen it before it went metro woman's swim team.
Great 300 from Jason "This is Sparta!" Belmonte, his 12 bowls was probably his worst but got away with it and fully deserved as well wonderful set.
Watching Belmo (or really any professional bowler) bowl is so satisfying to me.
Belmonte is a robot, he stopped each feelings in his heart for 21mn

I really enjoyed watching Belmontes lazer focus and composure. Very well played sir!
Is this so lit that I found it in mid 2019
I know absolutely nothing about bowling but yet I really enjoy watching it and I don’t know why!!! 😆
Their is a certain beauty to it.
@Cassie Blackwells how the devil are you
"You couldn't wait to say that." Same thought here. lol
I like the part where he rolled the ball
Based ball rolling enjoyer
I remember in High School I bowled with a similar style and my coach hated it. She said it could never be consistent.
19:03 I love how the camera man even game belmo a high five 😂😂😂

I LOVE Belmo. He will always be my favorite bowling champion. He will always be the best, no matter what! Just wish he would keep the short beard.

Wait until you see paul (awesomegamerland on youtube)

BOOM, Belmo, BOOM! Congrats for being the 1st PBA bowler to throw 3 perfect games.😃
Balls move like being said, "MOVE IN THAT WAY!"

Kretzer: *clap*
Jason Belmonte's cool under pressure whenever he bowls. I really like this guy.
this is the focal point of rob stone's PBA Tour on ESPN crusade
its all about Kimberly Pressler
im ready for a Pressler interview montage. Whos up for making one?
What is even more amazing.....the #1 pin hits the #7 pin, in a wild, wild spin, to get to 300- during its final 1/4 rotation. More oddly, the CAGE is coming down before the entire pin set is knocked down. These events, combined, almost never occur. Impressive Mr. Belmonte.
Happens all the time
世界一美しくかっこいい両手投げ
We used Belmonte's grip as kids just for fun and now it's used by pros bowling perfect games lol
Wow, Jason Belmonte is a legendary bowler with a perfect score of 300pts his performance was amazing. I respect and applude to him.
Belmonte’s constant demeanour and expression reminds me of a young version of Silence of the lambs.
I was lucky enough to see 2 guys roll a 300 in the same game, same lanes. One of them was my teammate, the other guy on the team we were against. It was also in a youth league, ages 14 to 18.
fake
one hand or two hands?
@@tricatfilms6136 they were both one handed bowlers. Although one was a lefty and the other right handed.
Belmonte is bowling with the Roto Grip Critical Theory. I like that ball.
I thought it was a RotoGrip Wreckem. I'll have to have a closer look.
Upon further inspection of the video it would seem as though you are correct. Good spot.
Thanks!
I know what a lot of the Storm and Roto Grip balls look like buy watching them on TV. One of the popular Storm Balls being used by the women now is the Storm Intense Fire.
If I'm not mistaken, the wreck em was not released at this point. This match was from 2012 and i dont think the wreck em was thought of yet lol
Enjoyed it, thank you.
Does anyone else like the sound the bowling ball makes when it hits the floor, when Belmonte throws?🙂👂🏽
I love that there was prolly a point where he knew he was safe for the next round but he still bowled as if his career depended on it
Don't they get extra money for a perfect game?
@@tamaslengyel1497 yeah like 10,000
Fagan: Brian Kretzer is a laid back guy, and doesn't want it as much as Jason Belmonte or myself.
Fagan: Comes in third... Doesn't advance.
Bel has the body shape of a bowling pin. He was born to play bowling.
やっぱベルモンテカッコいいわ
I couldnt agree more...or less. I would now like to see Belmo throw a 300 game one handed with this same condition.
@@mpup54he can 😊
Imagine how it's gonna be when belmonte competes In The pba 50 events
I like belmo though I'm one handed, but even I have to doubt that he will be competing at that age. And even if he is it won't be close to what he is now sadly
he'll bowl a little more like simonson, a little slower and more controlled. I don't think he'll ever give up the 2h tech.
50 isn't old. there are 50 year olds that are in better shape than anyone in these comments. he might not be competing in his 60s or 70s but he is absolutely going to still be around when he's 50.
odellus I agree, but he won't be bowling like he is here. I think he'll bowl more like he did in the players championship and the main event thing, slower ball speed with more angle.
TheAbele992 with 1 hand maybe, but I worry about back problems and if he does continue he'll have no speed which means he will have to revamp his game. No way in hell he's doing that little hop to get speed when he's that old
I wish the title wasnt such a spoiler. Very enjoyable to watch still
So when I'm looking for one of his 300s, I should have to type in "Belmonte bowls a GREAT game (watch until the end)" or should I just find a video labeled properly?
Because this video is part of a series of all the the televised 300 games
Jason is the best bowler no🧢
i lucky i have met him at castle lanes he's really nice!!!
For anyone that wants to watch this in a tenth of the time, pressing *"L"* skips forward 10 seconds and bowls are about 25 seconds apart.

Great tip.
The bowls? Sorry just weird way of putting shots. Thanks tho
Kind of cool Belmonte gets televised #21, then # 22 from Kris Barnes was against Belmonte
Nicely done…4th frame almost got him.
Hey, is it just me or is it satisfying when they throw the bowling ball and they release it and it hits the lane? Man, why?
He seems so Zen when he gets up there.
やっぱベルモンテすげーわ!!!

Perfect performance.
Why Kretzer got a 32 step approach?
he cut it down to 23
he brought it back up to 25
Went back down to 20.5.
This is the best thing I've read all day.
because he was kicked out of the AA 10 step program.
Oh to have myself a strike like Belmo's 8th there.
Great!Jason. I’m two hand bowler too.
Same 197 high game still my first year of bowling tho

Six months in and I got 177
Anybody else watch this video 3 times?
Yo, PBAs editor needs a raise AND a promotion. I wanna go bowling TF!?
Jason belmonte the best 🔥🔥
Belmonte's level of consistency is fucking insane. Not in aiming, but everything else about his throw. Everything is so consistent, that he can adjust his aim and know exactly what the ball will do. Not to mention to do it all two handed, wow. I bowl two handed, but that's because my wrist doesn't allow me to bowl with a heavy enough weight to bowl one handed (I injured it a while back) and it's a massive learning curve (No pun intended). But just getting the fundamentals of two hands down is incredibly difficult and frustrating.
Try taking out your thumb, using a lighter ball and only your finger tips, it makes a world of difference.
@@DrJUSTICE813 I do bowl, exactly as you mentioned, just with a heavy ball. I wasn't saying what Belmo does is difficult, just complimenting his insane consistency. I used to have consistency when I bowled for a year on a team but have since lost that touch lol
@@killasjanitor You'd be surprised what a lighter ball can do. One handed, wind back coming out with a hand shake on the 2ns arrow on the right, always hit the pocket for me, but not much hook, just a gradual hook. Maybe 5 or 6 strikes out of 10 tries. But when i missed the honey spot by a little, I'd be left with a damn 7-10 split. A lighter ball i can get more action out of. Nowhere near as consistent as him. It all depended on how oiled up the lane was, cuz i actually had to toss the ball with a shitload of spin, it would hit the lane around the 3rd or 4th arrow, then ride the edge almost in the gutter, massively spinning sideways while moving forward then about 3/4 of the way down, it would break left. If conditions were ideal, I'd get the 1-3 honey spot. If you play Pool, it's similar to the cue balls action when taking a Masse shot, to shoot around an obstacle. Funny though I straight bowled to pick up spares, unless it was a large amount of pins for the spare.
*sits down* "ARhhhh, ...you gotta be freaking kidding me"
i love to look of happiness on Jason's face during the entire video hahaha
Belmonte, Kretzer, and Fagan are good bowlers. Out of the majority of pro sports I thouroughly enjoy it is 1. Golf 2. Bowling 3. Soccer. No cheerleaders, and it requires silence and concentration.
Have you ever been to a soccer game?
@@StraightHeffin I have not. I would love to so I can get into the game more.
@@waylonjones4224 dont. If you go to a soccer match go watch women's soccer. They're out for blood and when they dive they're ACTUALLY INJURED! Fifa? Waste of time effort and fucking money, they get tapped, fucking tapped by anything that's not they're clothing or a ball and they act like they just got they're legs blown off they're bodies. All for a penalty shot THEY MISS.
@@lightbearer1550 You have no damn clue wtf
Waylon Jones plus there is no physical contact and as long as you don’t goof off to much the chance you you getting hurt is low. I stopped playing hockey because I didn’t trust people on other teams to play fair and I didn’t feel like getting hurt. I went through 7th grade doing nothing now since 8th grade (2017-2018 year) I’ve been bowling and now I’m a hs freshmen and I love bowling, hoping I can get good and maybe go pro since college is a lot of work and I don’t like the idea of going to school longer.
I love Randy's catch phrases. "Look at that pin action"
robpetry84 u mean "watch out"
This version of bowling looks so shiny
That popping sound is so satisfying
When someone’s real bowling is better than ur Wii sports bowling. I relate all the much :(
I just realised Jason Belmonte was using a roto grip ball
Anything that gets your ball into the pocket. Whatever floats your boat! I've seen a lot of changes. When I started Bowling 🎳 even the Pros used hockey puck hard rubber balls! Then came soft shell Urathane for strikes and hard shell for spares and even league bowlers like me started carrying two ball bags. Next came reactive resin and there was debate over each change. I agree from watching Jason that his left hand is just there to keep his thumbless right hand from dropping the ball. All his power comes from his strong right hand. The only ones who complain are those who can't imitate his style.
The new Castlevania looks really good
Belmonte is the best he’s so cool and a pro
